majorfalcon
After installation I run the program, choose Skyrim, choose where I want my mods stored, but everytime (I've tried multiple times now) it doesn't load and say cannot load D: My Downloads/Skyrim mods/cache ......always ending with not being able to load the cache. I feel like I'm missing something really obvious, just can't figure it out.

griz024
@ Dark0ne: honestly, i did not install it correctly the first time (didn't uninstall FOMM first); however, i uninstalled both NMM and FOMM and then installed NMM again. shouldn't that resolve any problems? also i am not using OBMM as i don't have oblivion installed right now. playing FONV. finally, it has been so long since i manually deleted an .esp i never even thought to delete it from the data folder, lol. Dark0ne
thats 5 mods that just wont work. i click the download with manager, it downloads, i activate, enter the game...aaand nothing. Some mod authors aren't archiving their mods properly. For example, if a file needs to be placed in the /textures/ folder they're not creating a /textures/ folder and putting the file there in the archive, they're just putting it in the root folder along with their readme.txt. NMM needs the archives (zip, rar or 7zip) to be created properly in order to install the mods properly.
gosteelers826
Sadly, the Nexus Mod Manager doesn't seem to like New Vegas. Everytime I tried to bring up the Vegas Mod Manager, it says something bad has happened and it crashes...just like the original NVMM.
Thunderbeat
when i open it, than come a warning that this exe. have no debugger modded.. how i do that? goldenvanquisher
works great for me, but some mod authors (like Dark0ne said) aren't archiving their mods properly for the client, so its a bit hit and miss. perhaps creating a section where the mod authors indicate whether or not their mod works with the client would be a good idea. still, a great piece of software, ill just repack the unsuitable mods by myself.
