How do I switch to my inventory with keyboard?

I'm sorry if this has been asked already. I searched, and have been searching via Google for a while, can't seem to find an answer.

I'm a kb/mouse player. Not really a fan of using my XBox controller. However, the XBOX controller seems to be the only way I can switch to my local inventory when trading with a vendor or container. I just his left trigger to get to mine. It's easy to do because it's on the GUI. But if I turn the controller off in Settings, and go back to keyboard mode, I see not option to switch between inventories.

Is there a way to do this? I've pressed every key I can imagine.

On a keyboard, hitting "J" opens the journal with the quests, "M" opens the pipboy map, "i" opens the inventory, "tab" should open the pipboy in whatever tab you last closed it or when using the first time after starting/continuing a game it shows the "Status" tab. To navigate between tabs, use the arrow keys or hit the tabs inside the pipboy with your mouse. When bartering, those same arrow keys can be used to navigate tabs from your own inventory or those of the sales person by hovering your mouse above either one of those inventories to select one or the other, or again simply clicking the tabs with your mouse...

Am on an AZERTY keyboard, so not too sure about the "M" key as that varies with a QUERTY keyboard.

You can hit I for inventory, M for map or J for journal to take you there. Be prepared though. After some time spent in build mode, these key don't work aynmore - at least for me. Neither does tab. I always have to hit escape to take me to the main menu and return before the keys start woring again.
