huntsman2310
So. Daedra. Everyone's favourite not-demons, amirite? I saw a pic of the Daedric armour yesterday and I thought "looks pretty badass", I wanted me some of that. So my question is, do Daedra appear as creatures to kill, like in the Daedra quests. Or after a point in the game, do they actually start popping up around skyrim?
Farem
I guess the only way I can answer that without any spoilers is... Yes and no.
RomeoJGuy
I don't think this is spoilerish since it would be expected. Daedra are encountered in some of the shrines to worship. I haven't visited all the shrines yet, but I only found them in one thus far.
VoraNoxstella
I've seen atronochs wandering wild. They apparently don't have a lot of daedra in the game though. Since the Oblivion Crisis, Daedra have a real hard time visiting the mortal realm (unless summoned)
Beriallord
I'm 40 hours in with a level 52 character, and I have yet to see a Daedra enemy. I hear there is a certain quest for a Daedric lord that allows you to fight a few of them. Later on Alchemists will sell Daedra hearts so you can craft armor. Tropxe
Aren't the atronachs you see just summoned by mages, as per the Conjuration spell open to players?
BlackCompany
I think one of the more frustrating aspects of what is otherwise a great game is the presence of "wild" Daedra. What made perfect sense in Oblivion (so much so that I downloaded an excellent tie-in mod called Stranded Light, just to flesh out Daedra Factions) feels...lazy...in Skyrim. Two hundreds since the Oblivion crisis. Since the last gates closed. Where do they come from, and why are they still present on Mundas? Furthermore, what new, exciting creatures could we have seen in place of these carryovers? Its a minor flaw however, and frankly, the game is so good that it isn't really a big deal for me. More a...curiosity...than anything else. Now, back to Dragon hunting.
pussyranger
Aren't the atronachs you see just summoned by mages, as per the Conjuration spell open to players? ive met up some Fire Attronachs killing wolfs or bears along normal paths in Skyrim, especialy more of them on the roads to markath, while on roads to east ive never seen any
Ghogiel
There aren't that many types in the game. And the dremora type I have only seen in daedric quests or me summoning them
RaynorX
Flame Atronachs look pretty much the same as in Oblivion but more stylized obviously, same with the Frost Atronachs but they may be a little larger. The only Dremora I have seen so far have been From Sanguine's Rose and inside the Star of Azura and they seem similar enough.
