HoratioCaius
It works great in survial difficulty. But for the rest, it is just an enoying prolonger of closing the game. Or a save we have to delete because we have our own way of setting our saves up. Or really enoying when you test mods, and goes out or in of the game alot, and it saves each time. A way of disabling it would have been fantastic.
pra
Well, you can always just press alt+f4 for an instant close. I'm not sure if disabling it would be even possible through a mod, it seems like an engine feature.
HoratioCaius
I have noticed exit saves disable itself if you charachter has died at the moment you shut down the game. So a mod should be able to make that a way it behaves constant.
Deleted1289082User
it seems like an engine feature. ...Unbelievable.
Rebel47
It is such a ridiculous feature, I mean I like it but it should have been given an on/off option, It annoyed me so much that I searched long enough to find a way to actually disable it (disabling the exit save only works when exiting to main menu though, and it still works as of this current build) Now I can test mods without the fear that they're going to be trapped on my save game forever :D
chucksteel
If you open the pipboy before quitting and quit while it's still open the exit save is disabled. You do get a message telling you it is but you can quit without the save being created
damanding
You can also quit to menu first, then quit to desktop. No exit save is created that way.
Rabbit1251
I agree about the annoyance. Make the Autosave optional like all of the others. You can open your console (The tilde (~) key) and type "q" three times and then Enter. That will give you an instant exit at any point. That's a Developer command.
