And besides, in the era Skyrim focuses on.. well, we all know that being gay on public would had been a bad idea back then, as it still is on many countries even these days. So besides being questionable, it`s also unrealistic to have it happen in broad daylight with other people around.

Right, the era Skyrim focuses on.

You should really get some treatment...

It is a tad odd that they have a ton of racism to the point where they don't allow Khajiits into cities but yet no one raises an eyebrow at gay marriage, despite how taboo it would appear.

But then again they're two separate issues so it's not that surprising for a universe that's developed it's own culture.

Whats wrong with kids playing M games, especially one like an Elder Scrolls game? Its incredibly artful in its own way. It's not like someone marry's a dude in the game and imidiately goes "I GOTTA SUCK SOMEONES COCK!". Sir, you're doing it wrong. Also, if you really can't take being hit on by a guy then just take the amulet of Mara off.

What NPCs name and what do they say when they hit on you?

I've never even been hit on by a female.

I don`t remember any names but I quess it requires you to have the amulet of mara. You will find proof of gay marriage existing in Skyrim tough on youtube quite easily.

Why on earth are wearing it and talking to men if don't want to pick them up? you're going around the game and chatting up strange men...

I`m just thinking that it was totally not necessary to have gayness in this game.

I haven't been hit on by any male char in this game, I am however really really happy about the fact that the game companies have started to incorporate gay marriage/romance in games. It helps increasing the acceptance of homosexuals in general, and I hope it will be seen as as natural as anything else as soon as possible. We are all humans, and even though you clearly state that you don't have anything against homosexuals in real life, you are worried about the health of children playing a game in which homosexuality is allowed?

Just to get my point through even further: http://oneworldgroup.org/2011/09/29/who-seems-unnatural-now/

Gabbe_master it doesn`t contribute to gay people being accepted.. atleast not in my opinion. With the way everybody plays these games it`s just "wtf did you just say?? I`m going to chop ur head off lol". Not that I by any means think it`s fun but my friends for example are doing it.

And no matter how much there are accepted homosexuality in the world these days, still the majority of the people in the world find it disgusting.

Btw before jumping into that "disgusting" word, everybody has a right to their opinions as well as everybody has the right to be gay in real life.

"and I hope it will be seen as as natural as anything else as soon as possible." That`s your opinion but trust me amongst humans being gay is not as natural as you see it.

Ghogiel I want to have the dialogue options with women. But this was about the whole gay marriage thingie being possible in Skyrim. I dislike it and wanted to discuss about it.

I see. You are making it out as if you are just merrily minding your own business and guys are pinching you bottom and winking at you in game. Which is not what happens.

The obvious solution is don't wear the amulet unless you are trying to pick someone up. that is what it is for anyway. I could see an accident happening once or so by leaving it on... but it isn't like you can't turn gay mode off as you have requested.

Now if you have an issue that it is coded into the game at all...That's another issue, all I have to say is well it is coded into the world we live in. Deal with it.
