Comfortblynumb2
The only reason i'm asking, is this is the ONLY flashed based site that does this to me. When I click on the site, i go through like 5-10 seconds of freezing, while the mods "load" (i assume), also, when i click on any mod, i face the 5-10 seconds of freezing, when i search, another 5-10 sec, and basically whenever i navigate around the site, any clicking i do, i face another 5-10 seconds of freezing. I should mention, i use Google Chrome, and have Adblock installed. But this is the only site where i'm seeing this, so it leads me to think it's a problem here, and not on my machine. Thanks in advance.
Comfortblynumb2
It also does this for me, on ANY nexus site, FO4, Skyrim, and the rest. If it does seem like i'm having some sort of flash problem or something, and help would be much appreciated.
Fonger
when I get that - its caused by a bad ad sucking up my bandwidth
Comfortblynumb2
But I have adblock installed, shouldn't that prevent those things? Or should i just disable adblock on this site?
JimmyRJump
No problems here with either FF or Chrome, both using AdBlock and AdBlock Plus, Ghostery and a whole bunch of other add-ons...
speedynl
site runs slow as s#*!, take xx sec to get a page to show, and going back the same thing, i can s#*! even faster
steve40
I have similar problems. I often have to click the "stop" and "reload page" buttons on my browser several times to get the page to load. Using IE 11 or Firefox, whether accessing Nexus from home or work, it makes no difference. I tried the Premium subscription once, and disappointingly, the speed was even worse :(
exponentiallymusical
I had this problem and I fixed it by simply disabling flash from running to begin with. I use FF, and have a bandwidth of 600 kb/s so it made things several times better. Now i can have my 20 tabs open while browsing mods without my browser crashing every 10 seconds. In Windows FF you can get to it from several places. It's in your add-ons menu. Here's what I did: CTRL+SHIFT+A> Plugins > Change options for 'Shockwave Flash' to 'Ask to activate' or 'Never Activate' Edited July 18, 2016 by exponentiallymusical
Vormina
I started having the same problem about a month ago, use chrome , having all the issues posted above plus scrolling down a page sometimes locks for several seconds, this is the only site that I encounter this. bill8872
It not the only site I have this problem with, but Nexus is by far the worst site I go to.Constant shockwave crashing, slow loading, page hangs up for what seems like forever. All the ads they put on every page makes this the worst site to go to.
