Modding Skyrim with TESSnip and Nifskope

Yes I have, I was able to edit the daedric helmet just fine, but that mesh didn't have any of these glow map stuff. As you can see, the armor is another issue. I'm pretty sure it's just a matter of adjusting some data within my mesh with nifskope to correspond with the original daedric armor, but I just don't know what to change. I hope someone can shed some light on my problem.

I continue to be unable to add my new hood.

I have:

Created a custom GRUP (ARMO) and GRUP (ARMA) for it.

The proper models should be set in the proper MOD2/3/4 sections.

FormIDs are linked properly between ARMO and ARMA.

If I try to use a model that's already ingame for the ARMA models, it works. But if I try to use my custom model, it does not appear ingame.

The custom model, however, works fine when replacing another model via renaming them.

I've very confused.

If you have the same textures, EffectShaderProperty and AlphaProperty set, my other guess would be to make sure the glowing part still has vertex colors.

Thank you very much, you nailed it, that was the exact problem. When I exported the mesh, I didn't export the vertex colors.

I went back to my edited mesh and re-exported everything with the vertex colors and everything is perfectly fine now. Thanks again.

I really appreciate your help.....especially since I've been asking for help in other threads in this forum and your the only one who even bothered to try and help me. Take care.

So confused, I need help. Theoretically, if you texture an armor mesh, then set the MODL path in ARMA to the new mesh it should appear like that correct? Well, I've done this, and can't seem to do it correctly or something, because it just gives me invisible armor. So either I doing it wrong, or it isn't possible. Any advice from the kind community? Here's what I got, I am working on a non-replacer re-texture, everything matches up except for the invisible armor.
