ClayboTGW
Just when f4se and other mod makers got 1.7.10 squared away Beth gives you 1.7.12 so good thing the f4se mod I use is looksmenu which is not needed unless I make a new character
bill8872
This is why I stopped playing for a bit. To many patches for the DLCs, which ends up breaking my saves.
Vormina
After last weeks ninja update and Steam reseting my settings, I put contingency plans into play... I put a copy of the 1.7.10 FO4 exe in a safe place and started Steam in offline mode, was glad I did when I saw "update qued" today. Take that, Steam, the force is strong in this one. Battousai124
I can't even start a new game now. I CTD before the intro rolls!!Only Fallout4.esm enabled mind you, NO MODS, NOT EVEN DLCs.

Anthoba
I feel bad for the folks that work on SE and the mods that use it. Always having to play catch up. Tough break huh? Edited August 12, 2016 by Anthoba
cossayos
But, as I asked in another thread, what does the update actually do? No problems in my case, obviously since I don't use any mods requiring f4se, but about 600 MBs on steam. Can't confirm a 1,5 GB update and I doubt it's of different file size for different users. Battousai124
@Gaming4lif3, how do you figure? Mine was 650MB too
Perraine
Yeah, 651.2Mb patch downloaded last night while I was asleep, so no worries for me. I also don't use SE so the tears of all those that do are quite tasty and sweet :P I did notice with 1.7 that the games "flow" changed somewhat ... It was almost constantly hammering my "games" HDD but the game had fewer total freezes and looooooooooong loading times, but their was definetly more "stuttering" so I'd say they are trying to get the memory streaming and/or load/unload of assets optimized. dwharper34
I am using about 120 mods. Now that 1.7.12 hit, some of my mods are not working including Unique followers. This allows you to have separate bodies for your companions. Now my companions (I have five women) are all using the same body. I spent many, many hours creating separate bodes for them, so I would like to be able to see them. I have also created a mod that uses Where Are You Now - Companion Tracking, Unique followers and Armorsmith Unique Followers One Rings.esp as Masters. This allows me to add new companions that I have downloaded the mods for, and create a One Ring To Nude each new companion. That is still working, so I know that Armorsmith Unique Followers One Rings and that part of my mod are still working Anyway, the original companion tracking is still working, but my mod is no longer tracking my downloaded companions and they don't have unique bodies either. I really don't know how to fix it. It was fine until the update today, so that is what I'm going to blame it on.
