ADeadlierSnake
Okay I hate asking a ton of questions, but.. Is there a way to place and then move an object without getting a remaining invisible object where it was originally placed? Lets say I place a crate. Then I move it to a different spot. There will still be an invisible crate where I initially placed it. Even though a crate isnt an object that you interact with, like the mannequins, or bookshelves. I thought this sort of behavior was restricted to those, but I guess not? Is there a way to place an object at coordinates as opposed to at the player? ChosenOneVII
Is there any way to undo markfordelete? I've got an invisible bookshelf that I can't do anything with, rolling back to an earlier save is not an option.

I just decided to stick some crates, barrels, or other objects in front of that space when that happened to me. I ended up just putting a forge in that area and it worked out fine. Once you get the item placed where you want it place a duplicate on top of it and disable the original. Make sure you use just placeatme while you have the item targeted in the console instead of player.placeatme. So to be clear it goes like this player.placeatme #item, target item, move item where you want it, placeatme #item, disable. if done properly you should see the item dissapear and when you close the console you should see the new item spawn in it's place. SkjoldBjorn
Anyone had any luck placing lightsources? I have spawned candles etc, but those give off very little light, tried to spawn torch sconce and static wall torch, but those just spawned on the floor no matter where and what item.I was when i first got a torch on the wall it did not give any light, also tried to exit/enter game and leaving the area and come back. i was looking for lightsources, but those might be nearly impossible to place the way you want without a CK.Anyone tried placing light sources? Chainsgore
You probably just have to follow the instructions I left in my last post. All collision detection, ambient light etc. from spawned items stays where the item initially spawns even if the item is moved. So you need to choose your item, move it where you actually want it then spawn a copy at that items location and delete/disable the original.
