myztikrice
Say I want to change the color of the robes on the Ebony Armor. I open up ebonyarmorbodym_m, I select the robes, then change the color using Image-->Adjustments-->Color Balance and then save but nothing happens ingame. How do you change the colors? ZombieInfected
Have you saved the file in the correct location, as the right filename & fileformat: DDS 1 or DDS 5?
myztikrice
It's the original file... and yes it's in the correct spot. I've saved it as DXT1, DXT5, DXT5_NM, paette ARGB, tried Generate MIP maps, no MIP maps, nothing has worked ingame
ZombieInfected
There's ebonyarmorbodym and ebonyarmorbodym_m. If You are tweaking the m_m one, i think you are changing a shader file - not the color. Try it with the ebonyarmorbodym.dds file. myztikrice
Well saving the file as ebonyarmorbodym.dds seems to have worked. What do the suffixes _m and _n mean?
Aikospacerogue
Well saving the file as ebonyarmorbodym.dds seems to have worked. What do the suffixes _m and _n mean? from what I have picked up '_m' is the specular map '_n' is the Normal map
Ghogiel
Well saving the file as ebonyarmorbodym.dds seems to have worked. What do the suffixes _m and _n mean? from what I have picked up '_m' is the specular map Environment mask map. Spec is located in the normal maps alpha channel.
