What's some of the stranger stuff you've seen in Fallout 4?

The X-02 looks nice on display with the nuka quantum armor other nuka armor and vim armors but I don't use it. Moraelins Shadowed power armor is still way better and you don't zap everything within 10 feet. It is kind of fun to torture Preston though " I i i hhave annnotherr ssettlemennnt ttthat nnneeds Ourr hhelpp"

Also, not SEEN, but strange anywy: since I never even met Preston in this playthrough, Miss Katy in Vault 81 isn't giving me the quest to tell a heroic wasteland story to the kids. So that's one Grognak issue I can't get. Not that I needed it, since this is NOT a melee character for a change, but still... seems STRANGE, you know?

I mean, I'm almost level 70. I killed stuff FAR more challenging and/or interesting than that wimpy deathclaw in Concord. I killed a chameleon deathclaw in Salem. I killed all sorts of worse ones in the Glowing Sea. I killed at least two mirelurk queens (Castle and Murkwater.) I killed several Behemoths. I killed legendary space robots in Nuka World. Etc.

Not bragging, mind you; I'm sure everyone did the same and then some. But, just saying, at least ONE of those should be enough of a heroic wasteland story to tell some vault schoolkids, isn't it? But nope, if it's not specifically the deathclaw in Concord, apparently nobody's interested.

I am level 73 and.. the only thing I found the hardest to take down was the very first behemoth you're likely to face in the game, which is a named one.

But yeah, the Concord Deathclaw is usually dead before it gets within 6 feet. With that minigun and all.

This concerns the BOS ending so

I have completed the BOS ending and I am a Sentinel. I didn't kill Danse so he is still at Listening Post Bravo. I am travelling with Curie and I go to meet him. He has magically acquired a suit of X-01 Power Armor now and he gives me a lovely speech about how great I am and we travel off together to my new fortress at Murkwater. As usual I get a call to "defend the checkpoint" nearby where the BOS are being attacked by some Gen 2 Synths. Pretty simple ? No, as soon as Danse sees the BOS he yells "For the Brotherhood !" and fires his Gatling Laser at them ! Curie joins in but I don't help and soon the BOS, including 2 in power armor, are dead. I take Danse back to Murkwater and dump him there. Later I escort a Squire and pop into Murkwater on the way back, only to hear Danse shout "INTRUDER ALERT!" and start firing at the Squire !

I am kinda tempted to take him to the Prydwen just for a laugh.....after Saving of course

Well, Colter was a sligt pain in the rear when my robot got locked out of the arena, mostly because of having to switch between the squirt gun and the actual weapon. That and I was on a melee build, so I had to chase him around a bit before he recharged. Mind you, I'm not saying I was in any danger, but it was a bit more effort than the usual VATS-to-the-face from stealth ending boss fights before they even start. You know, having to hotkey stuff and change weapons...

Mind you, we're still talking about telling a story to some kids who think seeing a commonwealth traveler is exotic and exciting. Those little guys haven't actually seen any of the enemies. They'd probably be just as impressed by Bobrov's story about fighting a mirelurk, if you tell it right

Which is a pain, since the game doesn't accept key commands unless you virtually hammer the number in. More often than not, it simply didn't register that I wanted to switch to my custom built Gauss.

Once the gatling laser spools up its over. Switching weapons is the hardest part LOL. I have been running around hacking up the bad guys with a katana mod called Tsuki no Hana. Melee is a lot more fun and challenging but it might be tough to start a new character. That katana mod would give a melee build a good starting point. You find a sword stand with tanto, wakazashi, and katana (actually older version of Japanese sword called tachi) in sanctuary. If you have the right perks you can restore the weapons to their legendary status. It would give a new character some extra motivation to develop smith perks.

The damn drumlin diner font.

Seriously, can they just use a font that exists and not some random/obscure stuff.

Speaking of Dumlin Diner. I have something curious and probably mod related there. It's the one and only location presenting itself in French. Quest as well as items.

I can't lay my finger on what could be responsible for it, since I haven't got any French mods installed, let alone something fiddling with that particular location.
