OnlyOneWing
Seriously... In a snow storm, wearing armor or thin ass mage robes; how do you not get frostbite? It kind of drives me crazy some times... Because I often swim right through a lake in the middle of a snow storm and keep running like I am not freezing my balls off! Also, lakes... Some lakes appear to be made of mercury because they do not freeze! I am not one to play FO:NV on realistic mode or anything but still, a bit of realism in this sense wouldn't hurt... Maybe having to build a camp fire and tent then toss a sleeping bag on the ground every now and then to warm up would add some dramatic realism or something. RubikNight
There should have been that kind of effect you get in Fallout with radiation. Cold would cause a constant effect of your attributes in more higher altitudes and extreme weathers. I am sure a mod could create that kind of scenario where the effect is actually there. I mean it's the north and all, really should have a cold effect at least.
SlizenDize
Good point, would add a lot to immersion. I can already imagine hardcore mods using this as a feature. "You have been in the freezing cold for too long, your bodytemperature has dropped two more degrees and your health and stamina regen is halved. Find warm food or shelter to regain strength." Areas above sort of the center of the map should slowly lower your body temperature...however exclusive areas with snow storms should have a more rapid effect...or at least require you to wear some sort of thick fur cloak to reduce the effects. Good point, would add a lot to immersion. I can already imagine hardcore mods using this as a feature. "You have been in the freezing cold for too long, your bodytemperature has dropped two more degrees and your health and stamina regen is halved. Guss
During the MQ going to the hill top you encounter cold weather that drains your health when you walk into it. about the only time i seen that. if anyone has encountered it yet? but yea i like the idea of making a camp site i remember someone making that in oblivion. minngarm
Because Skryim does not care about realism or immersion.
BGatot
This would also make a Nord's resistance to cold more meaningful.

Guss
Because Skryim does not care about realism or immersion. They go so far and turn it over to the modders to do all that kind of work.with the amount of modders i see now for the game there should be a good 10 or so of the same mod, seeing that atm. :wallbash: Edited November 30, 2011 by Guss
