Website Appears To Be Bugged

Hello fellow modders. I've been using the Nexus Mods website for quite a while, although recently it appears as if the website is bugged somehow. Whereas other times it worked fine, clicking the various links and buttons seemingly does nothing. Even on a mod page I can't navigate to the different tabs or even download a mod file. This has never happened before and is actually quite frustrating. Hopefully the admin team will come up with a fix soon? ( BTW I'm using IE and it worked fine before. Also using a Windows 8.1 machine. )

I have a slightly diffrent bug, that Ends up having the same result:

The site perpetually reloads.

It (partially?) finishes loading and immidiately loads up again from scratch, making it excessively hard to get to the Downloads section.

I did have it actually functioning ONCE only today, when i had the mod downloaded and went back, it started the loading cycle again...

That event makes me think that something that is set to load is causing the bug, probably an ad, because the reloading appears when it's the ad's turn to load.

I use Microsoft Edge on a Windows 10 Computer.

 

Edit: Had it finish loading once more, and yes, the ad was a diffrent one from the one that refused to load... guess it really is an ad that malfunctions, can sadly not give an identity of the ad that's gone bad, since i haven't seen it finish loading.

 

Further proof for an ad being the cause of my problem: installing adblock solved it.

I do see the reason for the ads on the nexus sites, the money has to come from somewhere after all, but until the bug is fixed, i'll leave adblock on.

Internet Explorer can have trouble sometimes working with the website's operating system. Have you tried a different browser? I switched over to Firefox for just this very reason.

This happens when something in your browser settings or software on your PC blocks our javascript from working. The plugin "NoScript" and some over-zealous adblockers tend to be the number one cause of this, but it could be many different things.

I have never had a problem with NMM until just now, I can’t log into my desktop NMM. I have full access to NMM on line…my profile is up and everything looks fine. But, when I try to reach via desktop access to NMM it just doesn’t work. I have reloaded NNM twice within the last 30 minutes. I’m up to date on NMM & SKSE, as far as I know (Skyrim-Nexus: 1.9.32.0.8 and

SKSE Version: 1.7.3 rel 48). The last time I played Skyrim was in the early hours of today Sunday 10/02/16 until about 3 or 4 am. I’m just can’t figure out why I have no access to NMM now.

 

PC Info (two weeks old):

*MSI Nightblade MI2: 4K UHD

*32GB DDR4, NVMe M.2 500 Gb SSD & 4TB Hybrid SSHD

*GTX 1060 6GB Vid-memory

*Pretty much been playing FO4 & Skyrim since pc setup without issue.

 

On line access to NMM via one or any of the following browsers up to now (* indicates usual browsers):

*Chrome

Firefox

*Brave

*Vavaldi

Edge

Update: After reading Robin's post above I tried to play Skyrim and it works fine, I just can't currently upload mods. Still batting 100% on game play though and that's very cool.

Please stop hijacking other people's issues to talk up your an issue you're having that is unrelated. Please make a new thread and/or use the bug reporting system which is linked to in the top right hand corner of these forums.

Also encountering this issue, where the ads don't play nice with Edge. Nexusmods was on my whitelist, but I've had to enable ABP again just for the site to be stable enough to use.
