using AddBlock on your site

I deactivated my add block for your site because I wanted to support you and everyone's free work. However I had to re-enable. With out it I had the following problems:

) using the scroll bar on many pages was choppy

) page lode times were slow

) pages would sometimes hang forcing me to kill the page and re-open (this seemed to happen in connection with mousing over mod icons to read their pop info.)

Sorry about going back to using AddBlock. Hope you can fix. I am using Win 10 and Google Chrome (version 53.0.2785.116 m)

I'm not being a shill for the Nexus, but it's just as Qwertyzeldar says. See that little "Supporter" designation just below my avatar? That gives me No Ads, access to the Supporters section of Image Share, faster download speeds and the knowledge that I've done my little bit to keep this fabulous site running. All for the low, low price of 2 dollars American!! Such a deal!! Come on, you know that you want too.

I'd donate 2$ but knowing how much of a scam online payment is where i live it would be more like 200

i'll rather keep adblock off for the nexus imo

It's not a scam. You will only ever pay 2 dollars and the payment info is not stored on the site.

  • 2 months later...

you can still support them by becoming a supporter which removes ads for life for one payment of $2 USD (or your local equivalent)

Lmao... So that is what happened. :)

I turned off Ad blocker for Nexus yesterday to support them and see if navigation was tolerable.

There was no noticeable difference. So I figured my other various blocking plugins was also blocking ads on Nexus. I came here to search for specific sites to white-list in the other plug-ins.

A couple years ago I donated $20 to Nexus and forgot about the no ads for life bonus.
