minngarm
Is it just me or is the daedric armor one of the ugliest and silliest looking sets around? Completely unpractical and it looks like a 16yr old designed it under the "black makes things cool" rule.

IShareThisWithMyBrother
I just hate the shoulder spikes, otherwise it's awesome
minngarm
Maybe so but it is a horrible armor design. All the spines and spikes would only lead a blade into sensative areas to help cause more damage to you. Just look at the pauldron if you hit on the lower shoulder it slides off right down into that fen like ending at the gauntlet and that just glides it right into your elbow under the armor. Strike the upper pauldron and you slide down into the shoulder blade or neck. Its just silly all around.
Handofbane
With enough smithing/enchanting skill, pretty much any armor is viable mid-late game - Daedric just caps off more easily, is all. I have never really been a fan of its appearance in previous games, but thankfully I can now run around with some proper barbaric Orcish armor, or Steel Plate, or Elven (as the character may demand) and not be too gimped compared to if I were only to wear what was the absolute highest base stats. HackerSlasher
I'm with you - it may look bad-ass to many but for me it looks daft and it lowers the tone of the game a little. The same goes for all the huge battleaxes and swords that are over sized to look 'cool'. All this silliness subtracts from what is a great game.
