Sync182
I actually enjoyed Star Trek: Enterprise. It had that rough-and-tumble aspect to it that TNG missed. DS9 had it to a degree, and so did Voyager - but DS9 was overshadowed by the Dominion War story arc, and Voyager was...kinda lame. Enterprise was ruined by the series finale, though - so I don't watch it when I go through the series via the box set. Kirk was the better Captain by far - he engendered a level of camraderie in his crew that none of the other captains did. Ashreal
I really liked all the violence in Voyager, Seven of 9 of course and to a lesser extent, Belana Torres. But having to listen to Janeways irritating voice was almost too much. Sisko should have been Voyager Capt. I didn't mind Enterprise so much, Archer wasn't bad, T ' Pol was great. I can't watch TNG, the ealy eps are way too cheezy.

The early seasons of TNG have not aged well, they are plagued with self loathing political correctness, touchy feely counselling and exploring their inner-selves, all post crash 80s BS. In the latter episodes they just ran out of ideas, every week Geordi would invert something and save the universe. In the original series Kirk would beat the bad guys up, impregnate their women and then blow their ship up. In TNG they would try to understand the bad guys, maybe offer them counselling and a cuddle, if that failed Geordi would invert the tritium high resolution micromanipulator and save the day. Vindekarr
I've seen a handful of good TNG episodes. but only a handful, which is unusualy bad for startrek. Kirk was easily my favorite captain, though for the life of me I couldn't mention a specific reason why, i just liked his personality and the way William Shatner made the role his own, more than the others. Series wise I'd say mauybe voyager? I haven't seen many of the older series, and of the few I've seen, mainly TNG and voyager, voyager seemed the best. Lutine
I had a difficult time choosing between TNG and Voyager, so either of those would be on the top of my list.Voyager was easier to get into than TNG though.

That said it could have been worse.... http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/8235/7crazystartrekcameos03.jpg

I really liked it, had some great episodes, especially that "In A Mirror, Darkly" double.Unfortunately is also had the worst final episode in TV-History :)
