tm2dragon Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 This here is my current PC build. All the thing lacks right now to play games to thier fullest is some memory space! What memory components would you recommend for this build (preferably ones available on Amazon Prime)? Thanks all!http://techbuyersguru.com/1500-high-end-gaming-pc-build

tm2dragon Posted October 31, 2016 Author Posted October 31, 2016 (edited) Do you intend to keep the current RAM sticks in there or are you willing to swap them out for higher capacity modules?my current budget is about $ 100. Ram is basically plug and play, right? Could I just add the new RAM, then replace the old ones when I get fund for more? If I understand ram correctly, I should have multiple free slots for it, right? Edited October 31, 2016 by tm2dragon
Guest deleted2630050 Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 (edited) You should currently have 2 open slots for more RAM. The problem is that if you keep the current sticks in there, you'll have to get more sticks that run at the same frequency. In your case, DDR4-3000. And DDR4-3000 RAM is expensive. I would sell your current sticks (You should get about $50 out of it) and get these. Despite the lower clock frequency, you won't notice any difference when it comes to gaming. carey4u Posted March 19, 2020 Posted March 19, 2020 here is lot of pc build i think these are the best for gaming https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-ROG-Gaming-Laptop-Processor/dp/B07DMNNRPThttps://technolup.com/asus-gaming-laptops
JimmyRJump Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 Keep the RAM as is. The few frames per scond you'll gain aren't worth the extra cash.
HeyYou Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 If he already has 16gb of RAM, there is zero benefit to be had from adding more, or upgrading to faster. If there is any performance difference at all, it won't be noticeable.
