So this is basically a new game that needs it's "own" texture packs?`Cause i downloaded 3GB of 4k parallax texture packs, but nothing seems to work.

They use a different compression scheme in SE. You'll have to wait for the CK to come out. Texture packs will then need to be extracted and recompressed to be usable.

The textures work just fine.

But Skyrim SE won't read the BSA files from the original game. If you extract the BSAs into loose files they will work

Yet I keep seeing people post that they are having no issues using various hair mods from skyrim with no issues. That have esm.

 

*shrugs* So I am wondering if any are safe, or only some are broken, or the esm files from old skyrim people are using will come back to bite them.

Just to chime in here. You said a Parallax Texture Pack? In order for that to even work correctly, wouldn't you need a Working ENB with Parallax turned on?
