Trump is no go for German TES Community as far as I know them

Wow she's on fire and pretty much nails it, although i might would use other words, but nonetheless it's refreshing to hear someones honest & genuine opinion, without all that pc crap we got used to.

The outcry that is happening now, in some major cities in the US, just show's how ridiculous they are. It's ok to protest, it's your right, but they not really interested to contribute in a political change, because that would mean a lot of work and sacrifices to make, before you even get a foot in the political system, as flawed as it might be, you still can contribute, but you have to work your ass of. Thats a concept they don't really understand nor appreciate, therefore they cry and call all Trump voters bigots, because they are living in their bubble world and are incapable to accept different beliefs, but sooner or later (probably sooner now :) ) they will learn that reality is like gravity, you can't escape it forever and the higher you fly, the harder you will land.

I'm German and at first i couldn't imagine a USA with Trump as President. I couldn't understand why anyone would vote for such a childish and egocentric man.

But that was over a year ago. In the meantime i read many articles and viewed many videos on youtube and i came to the conclusion, that a Canidate like Trump, didn't came out of nowhere, he was born in the loathing of the middle class, against the Establishment. Against the Liberal Nanny State, pretty familiar with what we have in Germany with our grand Nanny Merkel.

He understood what those people wanted and hated and used it for his campain. He was clever enough to make the lack of his political experience to his greatest trait. What ever the Lib. Media thrown at him he used it as an example, of how different and apart he is from the Establishment.

I don't support everything Trump stands for, but i have to say, i have enough of this political correctness Game, where the next logical step would probably be a thought controlled system, pretty much like in Orwell's 1984 or like the Stasi in the former GDR. I also have enough of the SJW who want to tell me how to think, how ashamed i should be, just because i'm a men or how ashamed i should be just because i called a transgender a she or he and didn't used the fictional pronounce they prefer.

Time will tell and i'm not a Trump'er nor am i a Trumphater, i will judge him by his actions, not according to, what some Nanny Journalists want me to believe.

I have to agree this whole PC SJW crap has gotten completely on my nerves and I hate what is happening to Germany and many parts of Europe because of it. You have to watch this video , like you I don't agree with Trump mostly , but on the PC SJW millenial types this Cherokee/Irish woman just nails it.

IMO the term SJW is necessarily offensive. And really stupid. How many people actively campaign and advocate for social injustice? I mean aside from the "defense of marriage" camp and Westboro Baptist Church?

I find fascists offensive and that's what these people are, they want to tell me what I can say, what I can think, they're racist, they're sexist and will quite happily engage in homophobic attacks if their target holds a different opinion to them, in fact they're all the things they claim others are, if there's one thing the left is good at it's projecting. These people aren't campaigning for social justice, they're campaigning to force their agenda onto other people, they're self serving hypocrites.

jim, imo you have an incredibly selective view of the world. In our country the major push of fascism today is clothed in the garb of "religious freedom", and it's almost exclusively a right-wing phenomenon not left-wing. In the last 40 years virtually all federal legislation has been for the primary benefit of multinational corporations and our ruling class, and even the pathetically small amount of headway Obama was able to make (e.g. the ACA) against this 40-year tidal wave of unrestrained greed is about to be undone by these same forces. We're about to see our country, as if it's not already, converted into something directly out of "Soylent Green".

I would disagree , though I wouldn't call it facism , it is never the less authoritarianism . People go on about how a few notables have endorsed Trump and have connections to the KKK or past connections, yet when is last time anyone reported on a KKK rally of any real size , usually its a few holdons of 30 - 40 and most the footage they will show on TV is from the early 1980's . On the other hand I have seen mobs of hundreds on the left in the US committing acts of violence in the name of provessive ideals , in Europe they call themselves Antifa. Its happening right now with all these anti Trump protests , people getting beat up , in Seattle 5 people were shot.

Now should Trump just be another corporatist , thats a whole other problem.

I would point out, that the ACA did more to screw up insurance coverage, than it did to help anyone. Rates have skyrocketed with the enactment of the ACA, and folks are now given a choice of paying for their healthcare coverage, or buying food.

I have real issues with the government REQUIRING me to purchase a product from a private industry.

HeyYou, I can speak only from personal experience, my partner's monthly health insurance went from $396/mo. to $41, and the ACA even includes dental coverage for that $41. But I couldn't agree more with your last comment. Our health care system has been socialized for 80+ years, since we do not allow people to simply die in our streets without medical treatment. The only question is who pays for these services, and while a socialized plan makes sense (the more people that pay into an insurance program, the less everyone pays, and every one of us are healthy only until we're not), implementation of it was royally botched imo. What is now called Obamacare started as Hillarycare over 20 years ago, and its mandates (and the SCOTUS decision that legalized this financial slavery, a "tax" paid to flipping Blue Cross IS NOT A TAX) were or will be its demise.

I know too many people that used to get their health coverage thru work, that were forced to seek coverage elsewhere, when their employers decided to end their health care coverage. Of course, paying individual rates, instead of 'collective' rates, was significantly more expensive. Others, that got their health care thru work, via union contract, saw their rates triple, in under a year, and coverage decrease..... The government wanted to charge me about 200 bucks a month for medicare part D....... something that I got for free before the ACA...... which represented 20% of my income....... not exactly something I could afford. Fortunately, I dodged that bullet due to having veterans health care..... Without that, I would have been homeless......
