Oblivionaddicted
What do you mean more precisely by improving?
Dragon32
You mean something like this? Socketed Weapons and Armor by pseunomix. Or something else?
Oblivionaddicted
In Dramatically improved Morrowind Tribunal and Bloodmoon I largely increased the enchantment capacity of the vanilla weapons, clothes and armors if it's the kind of improvement you're looking for. DaxMastah
apologies for the late response, got lost a few times while playing...What do you mean more precisely by improving?i mostly mean in the sense of blacksmithing, tempering armor and weapons to make them more powerful, or even weaving, adding attribute/modifier effects to clothing that make it SEEM like armor or have effects that improve the character's capabilities, one example of both is allowing for a Hand to Hand modifier on gloves and guantlets through adding knuckle plates on gloves, or sharpening them on gauntlets, or allowing a sort of "Thorned" effect on metal armors, or even a "Polished" state for spell reflection and increased durability! and yes i know enchanting allows this to some degree... but i like variety and don't like paying the mages millions for my "Perfect" set... yes i'm cheap...You mean something like this? Socketed Weapons and Armor by pseunomix. Or something else?Though this was'nt what i was EXACTLY looking for, this IS something to look into... unfortunately, it's restricted to 1. Vanilla items, and 2. Armor and weapons only, which might work for when i do my shadow scale play through, but as for my Scholar of magic and martial arts... it leaves nothing to gain.... still gonna add the mod for said shadow scale play through, but as said above, i would also like improvements and modifications on clothing, OUTSIDE of enchanting if possible. Dragon32
Two big crafting mods I can think of are Morrowind Crafting and Complete Morrowind, no idea if they let you buff existing items. Issue with what you're talking about is it would be bugger complex to script. You'd need to place a script on an activator which would need multiple IFs to even identify the original item and then for each of those even more multiple IFs for possible enhancements (requiring constituent items / components). Morrowind scripting doesn't have concept of functions you can define and call so everything would need to be in a single, monolithic script. And there're probably limitations on number of IFs / ELSEIFs too, can't remember Happy to be proven wrong but I don't think there's something which will do what you are looking for.
