Dark0ne
Hi folks, I've received sporadic reports from people over the past month or so that files they're downloading are not showing in their download history. Some people are reporting that they cannot endorse files they've definitely downloaded, and this is the same thing -- essentially, if the file doesn't show in your download history, you can't endorse it. I'm making this thread as a central place to pool reports on this topic, and somewhere I can link people to who are having the same issue so I can get all the feedback in one place. The more detailed feedback we have, the sooner we can find the problem and fix it. If you are experiencing this issue, please reply to this thread with the following details. What file did you download that isn't showing in your download history? When did you download the file? Please give the name of the mod page (and a link would be really handy for us!), and if that file page has more than one file, which file did you download? What download method did you use? Manual download? NMM? MO?What file server are you downloading from? CDN? Europe #1? Europe #2? North America? What browser are you using? With this information we'll be able to fix the issue a lot sooner. Thank you for any help you can provide.
Dark0ne
Funnily enough, we believe we might have found the fix for this. While unfortunately any files you've downloaded that are missing will not be recoverable, it should work from now on. If you've been having issues recently, please feel free to report back on whether the issue was fixed. This issue should have only affected a small number of Premium Members who'd set a specific preferred file server in their preferences.
kestrelhawk
That's great news Robin, thank you very much! I have so far only had one mod that I still cannot endorse. Here is the asked for info Face Light http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/5965/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrimspecialedition%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D5965&pUp=1 Version 2.0manual download, NMM (latest version at that time, on 11/19/16)Google Chrome Strangely, while I don't normally specify which server, I remember that day being a heavy traffic day, and when the manual download didn't start right away, I clicked on the premium Dallas server. (I live near Dallas) I do not however, have it set in my preferences. I'd really like to endorse this mod. I did give the author kudos, but it's not quite the same. Great work by you and your team! AlexZander40
I am also having the same issue with both Skyrim and Fallout 4 manual downloads. However, I was able to download the two files through MO and NMM, and then the files showed in the Downloads History and I was able to endorse. 1. Skyrim Superior Rock Textures Fallout 4 Beantown Interiors Project2. Downloaded Superior Rock Textures on 12/8/16 Main file v1.1 Downloaded Beantown Interiors Project on 12/19/16 Main File v8.93. Originally downloaded manually. That is my preferred method of downloading mod files. But then I tried with MO for Skyrim and NMM for FO4, which worked and allowed me to endorse.4. Used both CDN and North America servers.5. Firefox Browser latest versions. And also tried Chrome latest version. I'm going to download a couple of mods manually and see if I can endorse.Update: I was able to endorse the two mod files after downloading manually. So I thank you for fixing the problem.
SigynX1
Thank you so much for fixing this. I had the problem for a couple of weeks but noticed yesterday that it was working again. My workaround during that time was to also download straight to NMM which did show the download. New files don't always download to NMM easily so I'd sometimes have to wait until the next day and click it again. I am OCD about being able to endorse. LoL If I notice it happening again, I will post here. Thanks again!
Tmoneybags
It seems like this problem is still persisting, at least for me anyway. As of about a week and a half ago I cannot endorse any files. I have about 60-ish files that won't let me endorse because it says I don't have them downloaded, whether I delete the download file or not. The most recent files I've downloaded, as of 2 days ago, Mod Organizer says "Endorsement state unknown" when I right click to endorse it. Endorsing on the website does not work. This is a sub post with a picture of part of the issue:https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/5242240-endorsement-bug/?p=46421525 Edit: One of the many files was Distinct Interiors1/08/2017http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6130/?The main file version 1.2Download with Manager (I tried manual as well) -> Mod OrganizerNorth AmericanGoogle Chrome Hope that helps! Dark0ne
Hi Tmoney, I'm sorry but you still haven't provided the details I request in the OP that help us to diagnose the issue. Specifically, I need these details: What file did you download that isn't showing in your download history? When did you download the file? Please give the name of the mod page (and a link would be really handy for us!), and if that file page has more than one file, which file did you download? What download method did you use? Manual download? NMM? MO?What file server are you downloading from? CDN? Europe #1? Europe #2? North America? What browser are you using?
