Ramagast
It's ok. String count is naturally growing with the game time and most mods add hundreds, sometimes thousands of strings upon activation. String count was an issue in Oldrim - passing 65536 broke saves for good. It was discovered about a year ago and fixed with SKSE and excellent "Crash fixes". This bug shouldn't be relevant in SSE anymore, and there are no apparent harm in having all of this strings. But, yeah, somehow our glitch hits in the dialogue area... which makes me think of language and localization.
lethielnyrond
Something occurs. Do you use Wrye Bash, and did you have to extract some string files for certain mods into a "strings" folder to stop error messages showing up? I think I remember reading somewhere that loose files take precedence over files in a BSA, or it may have been the other way round...either way there must be two sets of the same string files somewhere in my setup. I may be completely up the creek, of course... Lethiel
Ramagast
Oh. I see. Yes, it's exactly what I did. And look at that, these are localization files. Aaaand they take precedence over the BSA. And, indeed, AFTER that the game was updated, the BSA was updated, and it's quite possible it now finds some outdated loose strings where it shouldn't. Yeah, it's worth checking out. If i remember correctly, this unpacked folder didn't even exist until the extraction, so I'll just move it somewhere else and see how it goes. LeagacyofMorrorwind
This is part of a comment from the Aurlyn Companion: i noticed that the dungeons added by this mod have underscores in the form id...this needs to be fixed for sse as having underscores messes with the save system. But it seems that only breaks the save sorting not cause fake corruption. Or could it break it if several mods have underscores?
Ramagast
I wouldn't know, but let's take a look at, say... "Wheels of Lull": https://gyazo.com/a22aa7616d72e22c996a5b70deaf290bSo, I marched to their bug section (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/748/?tab=14&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrimspecialedition%2Fajax%2Fmodbugs%2F%3Fid%3D748&pUp=1)and looked at: "Mod deleted all my previous saved games" bug. Looks like there is a bug, indeed, but it only affects modded areas and has a different effect. Game wouldn't see our old saves while player is walking through the new modded areas. And the "Achievement Re-enabler" is supposed to fix this by flagging our saves as not modded. And I'm running it (even thought it to be a source of our bug, but it wasn't). Doesn't seem to be the case, yeah. Now, the unpacked localization strings - this looks more promising. I assume that everyone here has built the bashed patch at certain point. Ramagast
That's unfortunate =(So, you don't have a "Strings" folder in your Data Files, right?

LeagacyofMorrorwind
i deleted everything skyrim se related. All mods , saves , the game , the virtual install. I redownloaded skyrim and downloaded 93 mods today so its fresh as it can be. I guess at 6 hours the corruption stuff will be back again because reasons. Lets see how this goes.
