Feanoro
My first character was a Breton loyal to the Empire and proud to help it quash down the silly Nord rebellion. Always in the middle of the fight, surrounded by his fellow legionnaires, he hacked down every moving enemy in his deadly Daedric armor. My second character is a Nord in love with his home, people and traditions. He knows a weakened Empire might only speed up a confrontation with the Thalmor, whom he sees as the ultimate enemies, but he cannot stand by and let the Empire strip away the last shred of dignity his people have. Despite preconceptions against his kind, my PC prefers a stealthy approach to battle and light armor, although his natural strength and fighting abilities make him equally deadly in close combat. I'll probably go for a 3rd run in the future with a Khajiit, whom I think are amazing in Skyrim. For the moment I just love having Kharjo by my side:). macole
Since the days of Daggerfall I've always played through each game first as an Altmer mage of the Psijic order claiming to be the last of the Ayleid. My only other race has been a Bosmer; a sneaky thief in Morrowind and heavy armored battlemage. I know a hundred ways to cook a steak. Know what I mean brothers? After reading the Fall of the Snow Prince I wanted to play as a Falmer but the Falmer of Skyrim just aren't appealing. macole
I can't understand why Bretons became shortasses. In Daggerfall they were described as a tall, fair skinned race (they are supposedly an amalgam of Nord and High Elf from way back aren't they?) I agree that they have a Celtic feel, which is why I like them. I say all power to tall redheaded Celts myself.... What I always feel is missing is an Akaviri/Asian type race. Akavir is out there and talked about, so why no Akaviris in game? Hope this gets modded in,as it did for Oblivion. Hentai Mania 1&2 made me think of Akavir. Skyrim could do with some of that, IMO. Flipout6
Always, ALWAYS a Nord warrior, with heavy armor, and a little bit of healing and shield magic (stoneflesh.) to keep himself alive. As of Skyrim I made 2 versions of him, one dual-wielding Damage-freak for the stormcloaks and an ebony-clad sword and axe dude for the imperials. both kick a lot of A**. And both murder the hell out of any thalmor they see.
dragonalumni
Redguards (currently at zero votes) had a better racial in oblivion. Adrenaline Rush -- All of the following for 60 seconds on Self, once per day: Fortify Agility 50 points Fortify Endurance 50 points Fortify Speed 50 points Fortify Strength 50 points Fortify Health 25 points in Skyrim, Stamina regenerates 10x faster for 60 seconds, once per day. Ick. In oblivion the redguard's racial was amazing now it's basically last place in racials.

ModelV
Well I only got the game recently and only have made 4 characters: Pure warrior nord(abandoned.) Pure warrior Orc, mage argonian, and bow and dagger thief argonian which has gone the longest amount of time without boring me into playing another class(got to level 18!) So id have to go with Argonian. They look cool!

pastafrola
Like Morrowind and Oblivion, Skyrim was not the exception: Bosmer. They fit with my favourite playing style: stealthy ranger fighter. Edited January 13, 2012 by pastafrola
