You guys are getting too pathetic over this. They go radio silent for a few weeks and you immediately act like the world is ending.

SE is perfectly fine to play without SKSE64 right now.

Many popular mods have done workarounds for the lack of SKSE64.

Resorting to posting the names and other personal information is totally uncalled for.

Many popular mod, uh? Actually they are weeping about HDT boobs and adult stuff that can't be ported without SKSE, some ppl can't play skyrim without porn in it

Hello.

Actually I want HDT for hair and capes. AND then for boobs. Flower Girls SE is a must if you want a immersive sex mod, and I don't need SKSE for that or any other sex mod. Not all of us want skse for porn stuff. There aro so many awesome mod that sadly require skse. Just saying.

Have a good day.

At this point, why the hell bother. I am already bored with this game again.

Guess that's it, folks. edchuckndoug46 is bored with the game. All modders pack it up and move on!

Well not to join the hate parade but their general premise does have a point. If too much time goes by without SKSE64 being completed then the people who will use it to mod will have moved on already.

I'm not takling about flower girls, more about loverslab mods..

I know that requiem is great mod as many other skse depending mods. but they can be replaced with other SE mod compilations and you can achieve almost same game overhaul.

p.s. Older version of SKYUI works on SE, (some feature like filter and search donsn't work though)

I really can't understand that hysteria about skse64, like - "omg , my life is ruined , i can't live without skse, I want it now, I demand that developers continue work, i'll pay money!" - and so on. this is just ridiculous.

This, along with the so very many popular mods that have been ported with workarounds (like spells) to replace the MCM functionality, is why I now encourage folks to go ahead and play SE. Many mod authors have said (usually in their pinned posts at their mod page) that they will re-tweak their ported mods once SKSE becomes available for SE.

This means you can have your cake and eat it too. Go ahead and enjoy the stability of SE now and then switch over after SKSE has been released and the majority of your favorite mods have been tweaked to get rid of the workarounds and use SKSE instead.

The only problem I foresee is that replacing the mods with the updated ones will probably break saves. So you will most likely have to start a new game.

My problem is that Skyblivion and Skywind are going to need the script extender in order to function, and I don't want to be forced to go back to Oldrim for anything, especially since not only is it unstable but it's got this weird dialogue audio bug where random words get cut out of dialogue lines. For example that guy who tells you "I work for Belethor, at the General Goods store" will sound like what he actually said was "I work for... at the General Goods store."

Chances are that you would finish one playthrough before SKSE64 is released, and then mods are retweaked for that. So yes, people should be playing SSE now, without waiting for SKSE64. Most good mods are now available for SSE. And a truckload of them together don't cause stuttering or CTDs like oldrim. That itself is sufficient to warrant SSE sans SKSE64.
