MFFF 1.1[1]

From the start they knew that they were trapped in a 'set of gameworlds made real' but they were also unnaturally calm, and pragmatic, about the whole situation as if their minds were under some kind of influence. Perhaps it helped that they had all been avid super sensory virtual reality Fallout4D gamers though they had also used other games and yet other kinds of SSVR (Super Sensory Virtual Reality) programs.

All the teenadult metahumans were of the same height and general build given, of course, the variations between female and male along with the minority of exotic neuters. In this they were reflected, in appearance and shape, by the 169 metadroid androids.

They appeared as the 13x13(169) teenadults in a VaultTechVault, or VTV. The number of it was TechVault619 and being all avid gamers, they knew at least what the general layout of the place would be. At least it was clean, was stocked fully with resources, and even had some robots, turrets, basic androids and stuff like that. It had working elevators, rampalators, computer kiosks, super virtual reality capsulechairs, power doors, replicators, teleportators and much else. Yet much of it was fairly bare and needed resources to be added.

Sonya01A01 became PrimeOverseer easily, smoothly, and none argued with it for she was a natural at efficiently, fairly, bossing the others around. She wore her vaultsuit, with her slimly voluptuous-muscular body, sitting at the sophisticated hitech PrimeOverseer's desk. Even as she worked her console, with its three 3Dscreens, she was part of the process of electing into position Overseers, Coordinators, Supervisors and others into position.

AssistOverseer Krist01A09 spoke through 3Dintercom through his own desk, his face showing up on one of the 3Dscreens. “We have 13x13(169) animals and the same amounts of special androids, special robots and special exotics. So far everything fits with us being in a Fallout4D gameworld made real. We are metahumans, enhanced of mind-body-spirit though I am not sure what 'spirit' means in this case.”

Sonya01A01: “Helps explain psyker powers, mutie magic, phantoms, general ESP and that sort of thing. We have a shared secondary central mentality, the Metamind, but it is only starting to grow as we are in our exotic abilities. What is that noise I hear?”

Krist01A09: “Fidoe12Z11, the metadog, is scratching himself behind his ear. Alsation in appearance. Good company already.”

Sonya: “Give him a scratch for me. I see we have explored about 50% of the vault proper. That is six of the thirteen subvaults along with a few secondary areas. Accommodation, administration, medical, workshops, rest-recreation, security, defence and others have been found and found to be useful. We need policers to deal with law enforcement; Vault Security needs to stay separate from such matters.”

Krist01A09: “Agreed! We need policer commissioned officers, NCOs and constables. As for exploration efforts, our teams are running into internal blastdoors that they can not so far open. I suspect some kind of SSVR game type challenge has been presented to us.”

Krist01A09: “Coded electronic locks where the codes have to be found!? I suggest we put the Ruby Triplets onto solving them.”

The female redhead Ruby Triplets were amazing at puzzle solving and had been, as Gamers, excellent in doing so as part of Team13s going into the Fallout4D Gameworld and also into other gameworlds including some where puzzle solving was much more central to the play.

A metadroid, a special kind of sophisticated android, strode into the room and took up sentry duty in security fatigues, security body-armour including visor-helmet, and both a stunclub and a medium power pulsepistol. The stunclub could stun using high voltage electricity and the pulsepistol could fire off quasienergy pulses of different types.

Sonya01AA01: “A security metadroid (sophisticated metahuman like android) just took up position in my office.”

Krist01A09: “Same here. I wonder what is going on.”

MFFF 1.3[3]

A strong, computerised, mature female voice spoke to them both. “I am Metacompnet (Supercomputer Network of Network-Systems) and have dispatched security metadroid constables to take up positions in important sites to help protect key personnel and resources; android constables have also been dispatched to such sites as the hospital, the armouries and the archives. I suggest that metahuman security constables join them on a one to one basis and that they might be backed up by security programmed adapted metabots. That is each position having one metahuman, one metadroid and one metabot as security Team3s.”

The Ruby Triplets were dispatched to assist with unlocking the coded internal blastdoors. The Security Team3s were dispatched to take up sentry posts but other such teams were soon undertaking routine patrols through the accessible vault. Then the Team3s became Team5s as each gained both a metadog and a second metahuman security guard. Later the term, Team3, would be used again.

Security was neither law enforcement or defence and soon there were named the policers for law enforcement, the securitors for security and the defenceitors for defence. As a back up there were other metatypes but also turrets, vaultbot remoterobots, vaulttron tronrobots and vaultdroid basic androids along with other vault based security measures.. Later more such assets would be found and would be needed.

More changes took place, of course, as the newcomers settled into their new routines only to be increasingly pressured by a series of on going challenges. Immediate challenges were also on going such as upgrading the newly renamed Metavault, upgrading basic databases such as map archives, upgrading some areas with additions of hardware, auditing newly found stocks of resources not officially noted in the Vaultcompnet databanks (Vaultcompnet not to be confused with Metacompnet), fully activating some facilities and so forth.

One metahuman push was to decorate, 'humanise', the vault more so making it less drab and overly uniform. VaultTech 3Dposters were soon being replaced but not such as safety and directions signs.

Worldnet Summarised General Report 58769 Sequence 6675432 String Cell 11211A001

The human faction , the Brotherhood of Steel, has emerged from Predoomsdays bunker complexes in the Lost Hills of the former US State of California. Activities seem to be focused on the exploring of local areas and the salvaging of Predoomsdays technologies along with other useful resources. Steelfollowers have had a series of hostile skirmishes with local gangers named as the Vipers. Thanks to Brotherhood of Steel power armour, heavy weaponry and other hitech advantages, the relatively poorly equipped Vipers have suffered heavily and have been driven off. It is always the Vipers who instigate combat in an unprovoked fashion.

Large numbers of ghouls continue to be active, in areas across the world, despite they being victims of numerous threats, and also continue to avoid hotter, brighter, sunshine that both burns and dazes them. More intelligent, less ghoulified, more peaceful ghoulmans can be found in relatively smaller numbers but so can, unfortunately, savage ghoulman like ghoulers. There are radhumans who survived the ghoulification process with little, or no, overt evidence of having gone through that traumatic time that killed many victims. Unlike ghouls, ghoulmans and ghoulers the radhumans can go out into more intense sunshine with much greater ease. Ghoulmans, and ghoulers, can do so with greater ease than ghouls. Thus it can be summarised that the situation, with the ghoulified, has not changed since the last summarised general report that mentioned this topic.

TechVault619 has become active. The TechVault619 was largely deactivated by the VaultTech Corporation in the days running up to Doomsdays for reasons unknown to Worldnet. TechVault619 was placed on the OverTech, international mother Tech Corporation, Restricted Listing. Worldnet Network-Systems Units are undertaking investigations into the matter but are finding relevant data hard to track down due to both common and unknown reasons.

Note: The ghoulified and sunshine.

All of the more obviously-heavily ghoulified avoided sunshine but the less ghoulish ghoulmans, and ghoulers, have far more resistance to brighter, hotter, sunshine than do (feral) ghouls. Radmans-radhumans have even greater resistance. All of this is a generalisation as in this story there are variations of ghoulification even in categories such as 'ghouls' or 'radhumans'.

If ghouls get hungry enough they will brave hot, bright, sunshine but they are found in far greater numbers underground and tend to come up in dimmer, cooler, conditions.

MFFF 3.1[5]

The first big internal wheeldoor, type blastdoor, slid back and then rolled open to one side. A vaultlock chamber was there and on the other side of it another wheeldoor. The chamber was for security, safety and quarantine purposes. So far the metafolk had gone through such internal vaultlocks between each subvault or between subvaults and large secondary areas such as utility networks of small chambers and tunnels.

Except that there was a machinery along the left hand side, to those facing into the chamber, that was where a row of supply lockers normally were. On the right hand side were three cubicles of what appeared to be a cable teleportation booths being of the standard small size though still quite big. Between each cubicle was more machinery.

Many TechVaults, and other kinds of VaultTechVaults, had been provided with cable teleportation network-systems being either as part of the construction or added later. For security, safety, reasons they were normally placed into Vaultlock like chambers.

Except that it was not normal for such chambers to be littered with strangely preserved human bodies and both deactivated androids and robots. In jumpsuit type vaultsuits, the five glistening human corpses were inside glistening elongated capsules of thick green, yellow tinged, jelly substance. Except it was soon proven, with the use of life-sensors, they were alive. Two women, three men, were in some kind of suspended animation but not as in the statuscapsules that the metatypes had arisen from inside the status subvault. Even the metabots, and metadroids, had been in statuscapsules.

The Ruby Redheads, another name for the slimly voluptuous-muscular Ruby Triplets, examined the scene as the amazingly well gifted investigators that they were. Except that it was easy for any to find out where the preserved vaultfolk came from for a thin trail of yellow tinged, green, substance came out from one of the cable teleport cubicles.

Vaultcompnet: “Data records have been difficult to fully gather, and to collate, since I was fully activated just one day before you metafolk arose from statuscapsules that were officially not part of the TechVault. It is becoming clear that TechVault619 was abandoned by the VaultTech Corporation shortly before Doomsdays took place. Data records indicate that there was some kind of experiment being carried out in TechVault619 and that it seems to have gone wrong.”

MFFF 3.2[6]

Rhond55C41 Ruby held a pulsecarbine as others kept carefully investigating the chamber. “What kind of experiment?”

Vaultcompnet: “An experimental program, of projects, to do with creating a 'gateway into probable viable alternative existences' that went under the code name of the Hopespun Program. The title says little but of course, as a code, it is not meant to. As Vaultcompnet I had no real direct access into the Hopespun area of TechVault619 let alone control. Yet the other wheeldoor, ahead of you, leads into a subvault that I will be able to fully access once you activate my network-systems there. It was not part of the Hopespun Project Complex. I wish that I could offer you more information on the matter. Perhaps after you have fully activated the chambers ahead I will gain access to more vital data, on the subject, and be able to better assist.”

Metacompnet: “I have run a complete diagnostics on Vaultcompnet, with her full compliance, and have found nothing amiss security or other wise except for some minor infiltration of computer viruses, trojans, worms and malware that I was easily able to deal with. My own efforts to gain valuable data on Program Hopespun have also come largely to nothing except the news that the program was not so much a failure as that it was 'too successful'. That is a series of experimental gates were created, each with some variations, and more than one opened successful, creating active gateways to other Alternative Earths. The evacuation, of the TechVault, was done in such a barely organised haste that many valuable resources were left behind. Indications are that there may be pleasant, and not so pleasant, surprises left to discover in this vault.”

It soon turned out that the cable teleport site was locked into being semiactive and could not be activated by either Vaultcompnet or Metacompnet even when they combined efforts. The command site, for the cable teleport network-system was not in the accessible vault area. So why the recoding that had made that chamber more difficult to get into?

Metamind spoke, more directly, to their minds for the first time. “Because it was a secondary game challenge now met. That has gained a bonus added to the general gains off the metafolk of the Ever Quest never to be completed, the Foundational Quest now partly completed and first of the secondary quests finally completed."

Metamind: ”A foundational starters bonus was first gained of Gamecredit of 1,000 along with Tradecredit of 10,000 and Metacredit of one. There are also three Chosen Giftings, three Random Giftings and three Surprise Giftings.”

Metamind: “To this has been added Gamecredit 1,020 along with Tradecredit 10,200 and one Metacredit along with one each of Chosen Giftings, Random Giftings and Surprise Giftings along with one Exotic Gifting.”

Metamind: “To this add a summary of secondary bonuses gained coming to Gamecredit 333, Tradecredit 3,330 and Giftcredit of 121. “

Metamind: “That is a total summary of one Metacredit, Gamecredit of 2,353 plus Tradecredit of 23,530 plus Giftcredit of 121 plus four Chosen Giftings, four Random Giftings, four Surprise Giftings, one Exotic Gifting.”

Metamind communicated with metafolk, including robots and androids, in other areas but with the giving of more information to explain what was going on in that chamber to others not there. Metahumans tried to work out how to deal with what was being given to them.

Metaborgs, part metahuman cyborgs, were coming on line after careful program processing had been completed.

MFFF 4.1[8]

Randi77B12 crouched close to a grill covered vent from which had come a small, sharp, odd sound. He was part of a Team3 with a metadroid and a metabot, who were doing some checking up on utility network-systems in that area. At once he sent a small report to the Metacompnet that in turn sent a copy to the Vaultcompnet.

Around them stretched a big, typical vault type, utility hallway except that it was in an odd position for such a big utility hallway; that is very close to what was supposedly the outer hull of the vault proper.

Randi77B12 wore a vaultsuit with body-armour and had both a stunclub and a pulsepistol. Both the metabot and metadroid were light armoured-armed. Yet he had no intention of investigating the odd sound for he psyked something darkly disturbing about it.

A vaultbot hummed quietly into position, as backup, being also lightly armoured-armed. Then came a second vaultbot along with a securatron type tronrobot. Another disturbing, 'alien' sound echoed along the vent passage. The metahuman teenadult man stood, backing carefully away from the armoured grid and aiming his pulsecarbine at it.

Then, just like that, he psyked that it was gone; that is the creature, what every it had been, had moved away with amazing speed.

Vaultcompnet: “According to my databanks, that vent shaft should not exist and where it leads to should be solid rock.”

Randi77B12 shook his head, a little, in wonder. “Clearly the vent shaft exists and clearly it comes from somewhere that is surely not made up of solid rock. I need more metahuman backup and then we all together can see if there are any more vent shafts that should, in theory, not exist.”

It turned out that there were two more being both at the same height, as the first one discovered, and parallel to it. That is all three led into an area that was, officially, solid rock.
