SilverDNA Posted January 25, 2012 Share Posted January 25, 2012 Since I like science fiction and fantasy and comedy and art, there is only one big choice for me:A Midsummer Night's Dream (1999) directed by Michael Hoffman Every time I watch my DVD (every half a year or so) I find a new aspect of the rich play. RitualBlack Posted January 29, 2012 Share Posted January 29, 2012 My favourite movie genres are Splatter/comedy (great if it is both at the same time) and I tend to also like those pixar animated ones such as Up. The two are a fair distance away from each other in the movie spectrum. My favourite splatter movie would have to be Hobo with a Shotgun and my favourite splatter comedy would be one of Peter Jackson's early films (the guy who made LOTR); Bad Taste or Dead Alive. Not many movies produced in this genre nowadays though. I suppose there are movies like saw and final destination but I don't think that they are even close to doing justice to splatter films (so I have never put the time into watching one).
