SSE CTD on Save After Hours of Gameplay

Mine does too but game saves can get scattered all over hell and high water and modding troubleshooting with constant overwrites/enables and such can look pretty nasty quick.

This thing is happening to me right now, only in the town area though. the same set of mods for several hours, I wonder why now?? this leads me to turn off the auto-save on traveling.

So have you guys figured out the solution yet? I can still save in the interior and some other place far away from town though. however.... this is irritating as hell.

 

One thing we have in common is that my saves are around 13 mb too.... how weird.

Hi Asuke01. No, no solution. I haven't even encountered anybody else who has the problem. Yours is only happening in towns? Do you have any mods that affect the town spaces/npcs only? I'm not sure that it's mods, but maybe you could post your mod list and we can compare. If it was strictly save file size, there would be a LOT more people having this problem I think.

You two should compare your modlist. But seeing that your game fixes itself for some time after removing 'anything' makes me wonder is this another incarnation of infamous "false save corruption bug", a bug that occurs for many people and is not related to any single mod but rather, possibly, to sheer number of plugins activated.

Hmmm... I had considered that it was some incarnation of the "false save corruption bug" when I first tried to find someone with the same issue, and it definitely is the closest thing that I've ever found. I have 72 mods going, so it's not a lot, but they were running for 105 hours.

I have the same problem too, i was playing for hours then i want to finish the alduin's quest, when i was in skuldafn the game did not save.

i know this Thread isnt Up to date but i have the exact same problem now. after 10 -12 Hours of Gameplay, skyrim crashes everytime i try to save my game.

Sorry NeoAsmodus. No fix yet. I've started a new save since, and so far so good, but that's small comfort at best.

Sorry Creeper, no fix yet. My only solution so far is starting a new game. My restarted game is 60 hours in, and so far no sign of the bug, but for me it didn't show itself until 100+ hours in.
