How to get rid of "Magic Effects" via console?

So I got this mod, Manufacturing Expanded, and found that it adds a new item, Human Meat, which you can get by sending human corpses through the Auto-Butcher machine that the mod provides. I ate a sample of Human Meat and immediately succumbed to a Dark Craving. I didn't want this, so I tried getting rid of it- I went to a doctor and paid to get rid of my Dark Craving, but it was still there. I tried Addictol, and that didn't work either.

I even tried a couple console commands:

player.modav 8C1 1 (removes the Dark Craving)

That got rid of the "dark craving" message on my Pip-Boy, but even if I eat regular food it still says "you crave a different kind of food".

I also tried clicking on my character in third person and typing in "dispelallspells" in the console, which did the same, but still had me craving human flesh.

So I went into FO4Edit and looked at the Mod itself: Apparently, Manufacturing Expanded's Human Meat adds a unique effect under "Magic Effects" called "Soylent Green Is People!", which apparently is like cannibalism except it can't be cured at all. I tried deleting the magic effect from the mod entirely, but I still craved human flesh. What the hell?

Can anyone help me? Is there a way to get rid of magic effects via console or some other thing? Is there something I can add to the mod itself to make it reversable? It's really annoying.

player.modav 8C1 1 (removes the Dark Craving)

doubtful - 8c1 is base game because it doesn't have the mod index prefix on it

well yeah- this was before I knew it was caused by the mod itself.

I realize this thread is a smidge old, but I found a solution to this issue and recycleactor on my character caused a CTD

open console

type player.dispel <MGEF base ID>

so, for example, I had the power armor jetpack magic effect stuck on my character, so I typed, player.dispel 00125c84

you can find the MGEF base id by typing help <name of MGEF> 4

or

by opening up either the mod that gave you the unwanted MGEF or fallout4.esm in F4edit and finding the MGEF under magic effects

hope that helps!
