bOMKHA
Hi there,I've noticed that Nexus site doesn't seems to work properly at home. Since I'm not going in dangerous sites, I'm wondering if the community or some obscure forces aren't at work to prevent it to be the freedom space it was intended to be (I guess). For exemple, site is barely accessible and Firefox just told me that it was some kind of hazard putting my information in the login fields. Are some of you feeling the same way as I do or are experiencing trouble too? ChocomintCA
This site was already compromised a while back, I forget when. I know they fixed it, but still. I actually hesitated logging into the nexus site (on New Vegas) because of Firefox's warning. I know this account has nothing to lose, but for god's sake just secure the site. Ethreon
This is safer than a lot of places around the internet where you happily share your private life.
Druuler
I have never had any warnings regarding the Nexus, and I am a Firefox-only member.
Thandal
Am also a Firefox user. Never had any issues like the one the OP reports. Must be something to do with that particular environment, configuration settings, other utilities, or ISP...

bOMKHA
I'm also running Windows 10 and Firefox last build. This is safer than a lot of places around the internet where you happily share your private life. Please tell me where am I happily sharing my private life Mister "BetterThanTheManImArguingWith"? And why should it make sense to compare something I'm wondering about with something you obviously consider as unsafe? This is a non-answer.I can consider the time and effort needed to secure such a place but really 'm wondering how far a breach exploit could go. As far as a massive download server could go I'm guessing.Anyway, this post was intended to express some thoughts about this feeling, when I hear people blindly calling people thieves without proofs and when I've myself felt robbed, I'm wondering if paranoia isn't a manifestation of this unsecured feeling with a bit of salt in it indeed . AGreatWeight
I think what the OP is referring to is due to the Nexus homepage showing ( www.nexusmods.com ) when you log-in, whereas the forum shows as ( https://forums.nexusmods.com/ )...or at least it's doing this in my browser (firefox - latest version) and also shows a warning when I'm entering my password about the site not being secure. It's only been happening for the last 4 days or so for me. Surilindur
From what I have noticed, it is probably related to the new features the Firefox people have added in an effort to protect users and/or raise awareness. It seems to be detailed here: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Security/Insecure_passwords At the bottom of the page there is a link to this FAQ post of sorts: https://blog.mozilla.org/tanvi/2016/01/28/no-more-passwords-over-http-please/ The main Nexus site does not seem to use HTTPS, so Firefox will report it as a potential risk. Handy, I would say, and definitely welcome. As for the login, you could try bookmarking the forums section and logging in from here instead. Hopefully that helps a bit. Edit: Maybe it could also be something else, but that was the first most obvious thing that came in mind. I use the latest Firefox myself, too, and have not noticed anything odd. But I also use the forums section to login to the site. Edited March 17, 2017 by Contrathetix
