VulcanTR
Are you playing without skse or waiting for skse for the play?
Kazuya482
Should add a "Playing without SKSE but will install when available" option.
VulcanTR
Should add a "Playing without SKSE but will install when available" option. Everyone will do this. I was just wondered what the people doing without skse. Waiting or playing.
Deleted3897072User
Neither option. I'm playing and modding, yes, but there will be a slew of work to do on my mods when SKSE64 is released and meanwhile I'm rather enjoying not having it just yet :D Edited March 25, 2017 by OldMansBeard
buttluver
Voted for the "Waiting for SKSE 64" option.Enjoying Oldrim with the Purity graphics overhaul and of course the "adult" mods that probably will never get updated even after SKSE 64 is done.Like has been mentioned before, a lot of mod creators of awesome mods that used SKSE have now "moved on" (sounds depressing) and probably won't be updated.Truly a shame but what ya going to do? BloodyStigmata
I've been playing just fine without it, but I am really missing SkyUI & Take Notes right about now. I had some serious characters going for a while, but I decided to scrap them and start play-testing a bunch of mods to see what I want to use for when SKSE64 launches. KainThePheonix
I'm a sucker for a well designed mod with an MCM Menu. I beat this last April after 1700 hundred hours playing and an additional 400 or so just messing with mods afterwards. I can honestly say I am prepared to wait until SKSE is up and working, by then I will have forgotten all the cool things I love about this game.Hopefully. Kodiak412
I actually try to avoid using it. The exception is after the game has matured to the point where there will not be any more DLC or updates. Then I may look back at mods that I targeted that needed the script extender, and see if I still want to give them a try. The answer usually comes up no. I have played so long without it that I do not need to add it now. The only exception so far has been FONV. (Man I pray this gets a make over like Skyrim SE)
TheSpaceShuttleChallenger
I kept to Fallout4 until last month before I finally caved and started a playthrough... but I've definitely felt the lack of SKSE mods. I mean, I was getting bored of vanilla Skyrim back in 2012 and now, after experiencing the glory that is fully modded Skyrim and Fallout4, I'm back to what is essentially vanilla Skyrim (with better graphics and some armor mods) and I have to say, it's not exactly a nostalgia trip. At this point I'm just using my SE save as a test save for my load order and my own mod projects, that way when SKSE comes out I'll be ready. Well. I am ready. Because SKSE was estimated to come out a week or two ago. Now I'm using the wait time to get ahead on my homework so that if SKSE comes out in finals week I'll still be golden. KurganSPK
I was waiting on skse but recently got a new pc and when it came to reinstalling skyrim I decided to give the mod options a long look for SE and found that most of the stuff I wanted was available.I took the plunge and man, what a difference - the ease oI f getting the game to run smoothly compared to oldrim with tons of mods is night and day. I'll do another playthrough when dual sheaths is available :-) I had no trouble finding 250 mods for a challenging and unique playthrough - at a steady 60 fps that never ctds. And that's without a week of STEP type preparation. lol. I do miss HDT though... Edited May 10, 2017 by KurganSPK
