1Singh
I bet ALOT of Mods are waiting for SKSE.
LeddBate
Not really. A LOT of popular mods have already been ported to SE. It's just that mods that usually incorporate MCM menus have been forced to use work-arounds (like spells) for adjusting parameters within the mods. Just check out the top-rated mods in SE and you'll see that a lot of the popular mods from Oldrim have already been ported over. Having said that, a lot of mod authors have stated that they will most likely re-work their ported mods when SKSE and SkyUI get updated to 64-bit. So in that regard, you're correct. KainThePheonix
It is almost worth simply playing Vanilla. I was surprised at how nice it looked and when I first played through vanilla without an unofficial patch even I was surprised how fun it was. Then I sank into the quick sand of adding mods and never looked back. But with a few visual improvement mods and the patch. I think you can still have fun playing vanilla SSE. LeddBate
Agree with that. Also, the stability of SE is a major selling point. It takes months of experience and lots of learning to get a stable mod order in Oldrim. In SE, mostly you just have to avoid basic conflicts. Moksha8088
Simply Knock and some of the FNIS mods will be nice if and when SkyUI with MCM is ever released in SSE.
gavinjb
I must say without SKSE I have a nicely modded game which has most of what I need, yes it would be nice to have SkyUI 5.x with MCM Menu, but the work arounds for the most part work fairly well and don't hinder game play, there are only a couple of mods I would like which require SKSE RaceMenuiHUDmoreHUD+ Keyboard shortcuts in several Mods
LeddBate
Yep. I also love those mods. Thank goodness that the basic functionality of SkyUI will work in SE. Sure, you can't sort or use any of the other bells and whistles, but SkyUI looks sooooo much better than the old fugly vanilla UI.
QuagaarWarrior
I've been wanting to play legacy of the dragonborn on sse since sse was released. Unfortunately it is dependent on skse. After the recent delay to release skse for sse I've decided to just play it on oldrim. The problem with lotd is that to get the full experience you should get all the 'add on' mods. Who knows how long it might take to get all of them ported across!
