great suggestions guys

but im hoping to make it more as a spell/enchantment

this way you can have it set to a hotkey and the hotkey circle is reminiscent of the one in crysis

also if you had a quick switch armor then you run into the problem of a bunch of unnecessary weight as you would have to have all the different pieces

 

The suggestion of switching armors from nelvahin, i think, don't depend on you having they all in your inventory. You would unequip, remove, add the new one and reequip it to the player. being each one with specifics enchantments.

 

Using the functions I pointed would be just removing the actual enchantment and replacing to any other you want, vanilla or 'home made', predefined effects or scripted ones. So you will need then anyway, the enchantments.

 

Edit: those functions also returns the ID of the previous applied enchantment, so you can keep a track of what effects were in the armor before the change.

 

PS: Just for clarification, removing an enchantment don't mean losing it, they can ever be reapplied.

ah, ok, I understood you were thinking in using several somewhat equal items in the inventory. This would not be needed unless they have different meshes or textures.

yeah i have been having some comlications in obse that i cant resolve and so i botched the plan of using that approach

I unfortunatly will be super busy with school for the next week or so and i need someone to take over this project

i can give them all the information needed and who else is working on the project just pm me if you want to take over

(im asking though it be someone who has already succesfully put together a mod)

well if its a week then dont worry. I would take over but im busy with other mods including, valenwood, starwars mod (im team leader), an unamed TC, a secrete mod, and a mod at saint productions. :P

So as you can see i can not help you. ;)

so this star wars mod are you speaking of the boba fett armor?

i could still though use someone as 2nd in command because its never fun to come back to a project and found it has fallen apart

Well the boba fett armor is in it, so far we made like 20 different armors and counting...and thats JUST armor, im not counting weapons, vehicles, or actual modding done with it...so much work to do. :P

Im team leader of that project btw.

Heres a fresh idea, youknow how you wanted the armour to be a kinda enchantment... what if you rescripted the bound spell to change the apperience and alture the stats for your person? It seems like a slightly easyer task then actualy making a script from scartch or anything like that... Of course you would need to really know your scripting well. But im sure someone could pull it off. And make the armour slowly matterialize on your person, just a added effect... :D

all you need do is just check this thread once in a while or so

just check to see if anyone else has voulunteered or if anyone has posted a suggestion is all

 

and thanks for the suggestion Naminea ill try it out

ill try and check back here but chances are i wont be able to because school is really piling it on this time lol
