LuciusConfucius
Thought it would be interesting to see how often the community crashes when playing with mods. Please also state how many mods you have and generally talk about your experience with crashes and how you fixed them and what you've learned. Personally I've just started a new save, added some mods and then played for a while, added some more mods and moved around the load order a bit, and now I'm crashing at random intervals. One shouldn't be moving around the load order! I know, but there are a few mods I really don't want to be overridden. Good thing settlement transfer exist so I can save all my hard work for my next, hopefully crash free session. Tell us your story!
DoctorKaizeld
your options are very limiting, i crash once a week if at all
ibldedibble
With my current setup my last crash was... hm... 2-3 weeks ago I think. With my old setup, about once every 6-8h. Which usually wasn't a problem, since most of my game sessions are shorter than that. (The only time I had more crashes was when I found something that seemed to cause crashes. Those times I tried to replicate a few times in different ways, to verify what actually caused the crash, so I could fix/avoid it.)
Zzyxzz
I never crash, only once... that was because i had the creation kit + render window open + Rimworld running in the background(Totally forgot to close it) + Fallout 4, that was too much for my system.Normally you shouldn't crash. Most crashes occur because you install and uninstall mods on a existing save.
damanding
In my experience most crashes happen because you either have a mod that is a vram hog such as a weather mod or you have mod conflicts.

I never stop fiddling with my mods; frequently adding, removing, and modifying them causing me to crash on occasion.
Ondrea
It's a rare event that I crash. I usually use the same set of mods on most play throughs, around 90-100 plugins. And I typically take a peek in FO4Edit before deciding to use. If I add in a new mod on a new play through and crash at any point, I remove the mod and start over. Yeah I don't tolerate any crashes. For me I seem to crash when I have used certain modded voiced followers for some odd reason or use anything causing excessive frame loss like environmental mods, or anything that requires me to change bUseCombinedObjects to 0. LuciusConfucius
Perhaps it's my ram then. Running on 8gb, but I've been thinking of upgrading. Seeing the poll I'm a bit jealous, what systems are people running with? Edited May 4, 2017 by Vincente Valtieri
