GrayWolf04
I'm considering building or buying a new gaming computer since my current one is five years old, and the best framerate I get from Fallout 4 on its lowest settings without any mods is just under 28 FPS. What I'm looking for is preferably a laptop that will easily hold 60 FPS with lots of mods installed. What are some good suggestions? I'd like the top of the line, and prefer to have a lot of storage, RAM, and processing power. I don't plan on using VR equipment or playing online games such as Battlefield or Destiny 2. niphilim222
So what is your budget, and what cpu do you want. AMD ryzen or Intel.
TheMastersSon
Alienware 17 laptops run anywhere from $2500-4000 depending on options, and they include a 1080 gpu.

I personally would not suggest spending that much on a laptop. It's a very poor value when compared to the cost of building a rig yourself. I'm pretty sure a pre-built desktop with a GTX 1080 would be cheaper than that laptop, but I wouldn't know as I never check that sort of thing out. TheMastersSon
The OP said he preferred a laptop, but I agree 110% with your comments. A desktop computer can be built with equivalent or better speed for half as much as a laptop, if not less.
