Storm Raven
How about Horse Insurance? At least that way when your horse dies you can get the replacement value... Based on factors such as original cost, time of ownership, and how many times you have had collisions with other horses. LOL Storm Raven 8)

Congratulations, SGTBOB on your Vetran Status The Greeks and Romans introduced the origins of health and life insurance c. 600 AD when they organized guilds called "benevolent societies" which cared for the families and paid funeral expenses of members upon death. Guilds in the Middle Ages served a similar purpose. The Talmud deals with several aspects of insuring goods. Before insurance was established in the late 17th century, "friendly societies" existed in England, in which people donated amounts of money to a general sum that could be used for emergencies. Quoted from the Wikipedia : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_insurance Insurance in different forms has existed from the very beginnings of the human society. I'm sure we could extend this to horses with a little imagination... I learn something new every day. Storm Raven 8)
Fishtank
Too much realism? How about if you died you wouldn't be able to load that save anymore? Now THAT would be too much realism. :P If you were to loose all of the progress on your character when you died, I would either play with god mode enabled, or not play at all. Dying would simply be so infuriating. I fully agree here, too much realism on that point. In my opinion, the game turning into real life, by making your character end up more like someone in real life, would be extremely irritating.Getting Bitten by a bug, and then getting sick.Tripping and falling down and loosing health to rocks.Having to be sick, and having to sleep until better.Time passes at the normal rate when resting.Having to perform chores, washing dishes, laundry, ect...Having your house/home burn down due to natural disasters.Ect... nosisab
Seeing all the creative ideas I'm feeling an urge to play the real life game, hehe I don't saw the entire thread (just a enormous fear) so I'll venture to vent the most fearful and awesome of all: marriage with a randomized system that affect the 'virtues' of the wife/husband uhhh ... I just figure I have somewhat to do somewhere not here ... bye... :)
