Natterforme Posted February 17, 2012 Share Posted February 17, 2012 I need to know what would cause a building not to appear ingame while still appearing in the CK. I copied an existing building and door and then I moved them to a new area. I renamed them to be unique and had the door move you to a new cell. All appears to work technically so far. I can see the door, and it teleports me to the cell, and the door inside the cell can take me back to the original space. The only problem right now is that the buidling is invisible and I can walk in its space where it is supposed to be. Does this have something to do with navmeshes? clintster74 Posted February 17, 2012 Share Posted February 17, 2012 Natterforme: I have been working with Bond123 (a very old modder from back in the days of Marrowind with over 70 mods between four games) any way hear is how I fixed it tested betwen two computers and working. In the CK double click on the buililding to bring up the edit window now in the lower right coner look for the box "is full LOD" and check it. Idk if this will solve the problem for other structures or structures with specific properties. It was there when I arrived, and I could go in, but when I came back out only the clutter on deck was visible and I fell into the drink. The original Katariah, incidentally, does not have the LOD ticked, but I know for a fact it is there and remains there to enter and leave. What the actual problem is, I have no idea. I too copied the Katariah ship, and I have the same identical issue. It's there when you first see it but when entering and exiting the ship you fall into the water because the ship disappeared.
