Magatsu
If we want to fix the world we should not alllow any disfunktional, retarded, homosexuals etc. and people with bad genes, (loss of hair, bad sight, diseases that passes on to offspring) to breed. So people physics get better. i mean, a big fat guy watching tv and eating hamburgers all day with no purpose, they are parasites. We should make the earths people better in physical form, then strengthen the minds. we are rotting away. Like the "smith" character in the matrix said. We are virus. And that is true. we only favor ourself, use up the resourches - poluting- vaging war over pathetic personal and stupid reasons. Look at the americans f.eks, their fat as he**! No wonder how they are living. With sick ideals on how to look, changing apearance with sirgury, eating tonns of crap food. etc. How many starving poor people could have been fed with the money Michael jackson has used on his face, his nose could have been a ton of rice! The people starving by the way, instead of giving 100% of them a little food. We could give 50% much food and materials to live and give the rest a mercy shot Seeing the shows on tv with american families, with all that "morale" thing and were everyone loves eachother. 1/10 families is like that. Call me what you like, i just think that if we are going to change the world we better do it fast, or else we`re fuc**d. What are your opinions, on how to make the world better? ThetaOrionis01
What's this - the 4th Reich? The Nazi party meets 'Brave New World'? As I recall the 'let's kill off all the disfunktional, retarded, homosexuals people (and anyone else who didn't fit) to create a master race' method was pioneered by one A. Hitler & co. Did their attempt make the world a better place? I don't even want to dignify suggesting killing of 50% of the third world poor, or breeding a planet full of supermodels, with an answer. How to make the world a better place? Educate everyone to take responsibility for their own lives, to make them aware of the impact they have on the planet, to recognize how stupid and meaningless the artificial divisions we have created for ourselves by way of nationality, religion, race etc really are, to see through the propaganda spewed out by politicians, business etc, to be able to make informed choices - educate them to be truly human. That, IMO, is the way to make the world a better place - not some hideous form of eugenics imposed upon the planet.
Switch
Magatsu, this is a forum for opinions not fanatical-to-the-point-of-insane views. That post is also highly offensive in OH so many ways. Consider yourself stricken. As for this thread, I'll leave it open for a while so people can state their opinions on the matter... but please people, no flaming. If this thread starts filling with flamer spam I'll get rid of it immediately.
Argoren
Uh - Megatsu did U have a bad day?! When I read this, the first thing that came to my mind was 'Is this satyre??' <_< If beeing good looking and well-trained, if having the 'right' sexual orientation or if eating only healthy stuff would make someone a person worthy for 'reproduction' it would definitively reduce the worlds population. But despite this - does anybody truely believe these should be the criteria?? I don't think so...
Peregrine
disfunktional, people physics get, a big fat guy...they are parasites, resourches - poluting- vaging, sirgury, tonns, random capitalization, etc Actually I think the nazis would be ashamed to have him as a member... I mean, you can't be a candidate for the glorious new world if you can't even use basic english correctly! You disgust me. How could you possibly believe mass murder is the answer? How can you call yourself human and say giving a "mercy shot" to half the poor people is the best way to solve their problems? I don't think even Hitler managed to kill that many people. I have two simple questions for you: Why should you be allowed to deny people their rights if they don't fit your definition of perfection? Would you gladly accept the same fate when you get added to the list? In that case, please get started on this new vision of the world and remove yourself from it. Emry
This is a debate forum, not a place to rant vile and extreme viewpoints. If you want to discuss how to make the world a better place, then this is your forum. I found your inital post to be highly offensive. You suggest that humanity should get rid of all the dysfunctionals, homosexuals, retarded, etc. If we did it your way, who would be making those decisions... YOU? I don't think so. Are you so perfect that you can determine the "suitability of living"of others? Fat chance. I doubt that you even stand up to your own standards of human perfection; I know that you intelligence doesn't (based on the poor spelling in your post). Remember, remaking the world in to the Aryan image was tried a little over a half century ago. That attempt failed too. If you truly want to make the world a better place, do something, instead of spouting off on how bad things are and how terrible the world is. Join the Peace Corps. Teach. Volunteer. Even give to a charity which works towards the betterment of less fortunate people. Show other people that there is hope and teach them how to make a better life for themselves. Educate them - help them raise themselves out of their poverty - whether it be economic, social, or intellectual. One person can make a difference. And that lesson was taught a little over 2000 years ago. By helping others we help ourselves. My two cents....
Pack Rat
Wether you are a Nazi-like or someone with a really bad day!You say we have to clean up? What the hell are you talking about? You say we have to move every fat-guy, everyone with glasses or everyone who is gay to concentration camps? Congratulations, you've just overthrown Hitler. I find this thread extremely disturbing and I ask for closure soon.
ArtKing1239
The only way to make the world a better place would be to clean it of people like you, Magatsu. How dare you shame your beautiful Japanese name with talk of such atrocities. My two cents.
NCBeachBum
Unfortunately, many of the views he expressed are very, very prevalent in our medical universities, and in the management of our hospitals. It is beginning to gain a lot of ground with doctors, but still has virtually no support amongst nurses. It is called 'utilitarian bioethics', and was originally the idea of an Australian philosopher names Peter Singer(he was also the gent who wrote in 1975 that the life of a boy is worth no more than the life of a dog or a bug, and that human beings should at once stop all medical testing and allow ourselves to die and the animals to live. For that, and his treatises on veganism, he has the alliegance of PETA and most other animal rights organizations). They(the utilitarian bioethicists) advocate the intelligent use of the planet's resources and the furtherance of the human race through forced 'survival of the fittest'(by refusal of medical care), and by mandatory euthanasia. It preaches 'efficiency'. Their idea is that we should take all the 'unproductive' members of society, the poor, the depressed, the retarded, the disabled, anyone who is unable to live, in the view of the utilitarian bioethicists, a happy, productive life, and put all their medical information into a database. Then, when a happy, productive member of society needs an organ transplant to live(or just to continue being happy and productive), the computer database would spit out a random suitable donor from among the unhappy, unproductive people, and that person would be forcefully euthanized and harvested for organs. Also, according to these philosophical geniuses, anyone who ever, under any circumstances, considers suicide, should be medically assisted to do so as soon as possible. And if they waffle, they should be sent to positive suicide counseling, to make them realize how unhappy, unproductive, and useless they are and get it over with. And then, of course, their organs should immediately be harvested for use in prolonging the happy , productive members of society. Also, anyone under the age of 3, or over the age of 60, should be completely cut off from all medical care. Either they make it on their on, or they die, because they can't contribute as much to society as they will consume. Children born disabled should immediately be euthanized. Peter Singer's mother had Alzheimer's, and for this he dubbed her a 'non-person', but luckily for her, his vision hasn't been realized as of yet. Peter Singer served as chair of philosophy at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia and founded its Centre for Human Bioethics. In 1999, he was appointed Ira W. DeCamp Professor of Bioethics of Princeton University's Center for Human Values, and still holds that position today. He is listed as 'professor of human values, expert on practical ethics'. His vision of a utopian world, with a much smaller population, all in perfect health, with an abundance of spare parts available, living in harmony with nature, has made him arguably the most revered philosopher in the world today. As I said before, the huge majority of hospital management now subscribes to his theories in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Western Europe, with the very notable exception of Germany, where he is despised. Every year more doctors come over to their side, some who come there because they are tired of seeing their patients suffer and die, and others who are new young doctors who believe in it, replacing older retiring doctors who don't. Although, considering his poor English and horrendous spelling, I seriously doubt that our original poster here is a doctor or anything else that requires an education, his theories are theirs. Don't take my word for it. Look it up, read Singer's papers. Forewarned is forearmed, and while I laughed this off when I first heard of Singer in 1985(10 years after he began gaining devotees), I'm no longer so sure it couldn't happen. SimVig
I don't agree with that doctor's poit of view. Medicine is there to serve those who are in need, not those who are in perfect health. That's all I have to say for now, and won't comment on the original poster.
