Hoamaii
Hi guys, This is a question for a moderator: I'm a Skyrim modder and users have been asking me repeatedly to port some of my mods to SSE. For one of them at least (Clearsky Hideout), I used quite a few assets from other modders who all of course gave me permission to do so, but at a time when SSE was not even announced. My problem is a good number of these modders are no longer around, so I can't ask them if they'd be willing to renew their permission for SSE. Thus my question: can we consider that permission given for Skyrim LE is valid for SSE ports of initial Skyrim LE mods? Or are these 2 games considered as completely distinct and no permission given for LE is worth anything for SE? Either way is fine with me - I just don't want to scorch what little rights we have over our mods ;) Many thanks in advance for your answer, Cheers, Hoamaii
Dark0ne
Yes, I would argue that if you were given permission for Skyrim then that should also encompass Skyrim SE. They're the same game, just with "minor" tweaks.
