kerbal7
I've played FONV and Skyrim for a couple thousand hours. I've always added mods to both via Nexus. Last week, I bought FO4 on sale for $13. It's then I discovered that I can add mods via Bethesda.net. Of course, I'd like to add mods to FO4. So, my question: if the same mod is available on Nexus and Bethesda.net, is there an advantage to using one or the other? Do having mods from both sources effect load order (always a major consideration for Bethesda games)? Thank you for your help.
EnaiSiaion
Take three guesses as to which platform the Nexus Forums will prefer. I'll just say there's a major flaw with Bethesda.net. Updating a mod means deleting the old, then downloading the new. If the download fails (Bethesda.net downtime, etc), you are hosed and can't play the game anymore until it gets fixed and you get the mod back. thumbincubation
Nexus all the way, for me. Bethnet, in my experience, is more of a hassle than it's worth, staring with not being allowed to add/see any content if I don't drop my privacy settings. Not user friendly. kerbal7
I appreciate the feedback. Given the above, I'll stick with Nexus.
Fkemman11
I appreciate the feedback. Given the above, I'll stick with Nexus.I use both. Mostly Nexus and 3-4 Beth.net. No issues. I mean if your just talking about mods.
jcdenton2012
Nexus. Never trust a game company which doesn't patch its own quest bugs with the fate of your mod instillation's.
