  1. 1. When you saw the offerings on the Creation Club for FO4, your response was.... (Pick any number of responses that most mirrors your reaction.)

    • "AIIEEEE!" (Pulls eyes out and drops them into a vat of holy acid.)
    • "What the (deleted) is this (deleted)! What the (deleted) were those (deleted) (deleted) (deleted) thinking?!? (deleted)! (deleted)! (deleted)! (deleted)!"
    • "I TOLD you! What did I tell you would happen? Huh? Huh? Go on, WHAT did I say was going to happen?! For all you believers, here's your plate of crow. Enjoy." Full Disclosure: I (leddBate) was one of the believers.
    • "They can fix this. They can pull this out of the fire. Maybe. I don't know how but... maybe."
    • "Whine, whine, whine. Complain, complain, complain. Stop being such grump-meisters. Give Bethesda a chance to do better. It's early days yet."
    • "Meh. So what?"
    • "Eh, a bit pricey but whatever... That can change later."
    • OMG! This will eventually clog my drive and probably wreck my save game!

Creation Club for Skyrim Special Edition is expected in September.

From the horses mouth.

I wouldn't care except for the 681 megs of files I don't want added to my game. I wonder if -every- Creation Club offering will be automatically downloaded to my Data directory under the guise of an "update".

Yes, that is the only thing I care about at the moment - I'm afraid that it will mess up my game and I don't want to download anything.

Gopher points out that you can set your Steam NOT to allow updates for your FO4 (and Skyrim) but that might cause issues down the road. What if you need to verify your files?

It's beginning to look like keeping a back-up of your basic Skyrim(s) would be an even better idea now.

Here is a video that seemed informative and not overly hostile:

Hope the Skyrim horse armor can match its Fallout 4 counterpart!

BTW, Mihail's Monster-type creations would make for ideal Bethesda microtransactions to buy for your consoles - provided they could be converted to plain vanilla for the PS4. Just don't expect any Interesting NPCs or Beyond Skyrim Bruma mega mods. These are microtransactions. Shiny swords, Zelda textured bows, nifty elf armor stuff.

Thanks, I couldn't find it in Steam settings, so I will follow Gopher videos.

I think it was requested even by some console users - to have guaranteed content with high quality they would be willing to pay for. So I can understand that maybe Bethesda moved from free mods to pay mods for that reason, also because PS4 users were really disappointed and very vocal about it when Sony refused free mods, but who knows how it was planned.

And about the reskins - I agree with those who say that it is only a test, that we wil see in the future what will be there.

For me - I'm OK with Nexus mods made by fans :p
