ElderGamer1
For the most part I have played Oblivion and all it's plugins, including SI in many orders and as many characters. I tried modding many times and I crumble and burn....I really admire modders . I think the CS is a terrific way to let you put on screen your ideas to continue the game and renew the feeling we all had when we came out of the sewers for the first time...What a big world to discover. I have been on tesnexus looking at the mods, and some sites. I want the original WOW/unknowing feeling back. So rarly I see a game I fall inlove with as an RPG gamer. I love the storyline, Lore, and the questing adventures that Oblivion offered. I steer toward the magicka of things. I'd say I am a Breton at heart in most of my character blends. Any help would be appreciated always. Thank-you
Halororor
I know that feeling. I wish I could still be as excited as before, but that feeling just keeps eluding me. OOO and all those mods change the game without really changing a lot. What we need is an overhaul that makes the gameplay unique everytime you do something, instead of being repetitive like Oblivion now is.
Chesto
Elder... while I concur in all that you say, I'm not entirely sure what it is that you are requesting help for. Anything to add?

Thank-you Chesto for you reply.I'm new here and somewhat nervous too... I wanted to comment on the feeling in general and I actually was asking for a direction on how to maybe select Mods of quality in my gaming style (Mage) who enjoys Vampires and Necromncers... Lisnpuppy
Personal opinion: If you want that feel of this is great what the heck is going ot happen next? I recommend (HIGHLY) The Lost Spires Glenvar Castle Both are reasonably difficult, dont have many (or any) quest target pointers and are awesome to look at. I needed (or am needing) help to get through them but I am a bit slow on the uptake. Both have vamps to kill.:) PS--just saw your prifile..from PA? I am from WV. Iapetus
Try Supreme Magicka. Not only does it provide a number of new spells and spell effects, it also tweaks some of the existing ones. For instance: Now roleplaying a cleric or paladin is as easy as selecting Restoration as a major skill. Since Restore Health restores life energy and undead are the opposite of life, they will take damage from these spells instead. As such, all Restore Health spells (including custom and modded) can now damage the undead. And: Vampire hunters rejoyce! Now concentrated light spells (cast on touch or target) can be used to deal damage to vampires proportionate to the concentration of light. The best part?Almost every aspect of the mod can be customized in it's INI file!Really, I just cannot say enough positive things about it.
lolassassin101
maybe you could try alternintive starts and play maby alittle out of the mage, maybe step by step like play your mage save, play a mage / (what you like, dont feel scared to get insperation from movies like connan etc, and maby get completely involved in an complete melee, sneak or marksman chars) hoarfrost castle is a great on-going get your own castle and staf with 7 new quest, and maybe find some nice looking armor mods or weapon mods (dont go for CDM necromancy as i know it dont work well as i finaly got used to using OBSE) (i found glenvar castle stupid as i got stuck at the could-be-spoiller"you hear something behind the wall")

Take a look at this thread. http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showtopic=59270 People are praising some of the modders and have listed their favourite mods, some with links, some with the modders name. Lisnpuppy mentioned you live in PA and her in WV. What a coincidence....I live in Colorado. Oh, and I'm single.... ;)
macmert
Well IMHO... try... Tears of the fiend Thievery in the imperial cityKvatch aftermathDB and thief guild questline :Dbloodlines and if you already tried those, well I suggest you play another game :D like Baldur's Gate II Shadows of Amn... If you like a fairly wide world to explore and have some company around and you like AD&D setting try it out :D believe me I think oblivion is nothing compared to BGII... Or you can wait till fall... for fallout III :D
Halororor
I don't think anything is going to cure me. I have to get excited and hyped up for a game again. I love reading everything I can about a game and then building up this huge hype for it and then one day getting to play it. When oblivion came out I knew I wouldn't be able to get to the shops until a week later, so I actually copied the game from a friend and then played it. A week later it was the best feeling when I strode out of the shop with the game in my hand.
