GlassDeviant
Most mod authors seem to not include versions in the names of their files, which makes the whole old files section a huge pain, having to expand every file to see which version is which. Oh it goes way beyond that. Especially when downloading multiuple files from the same mod page. I would say at least 20% of modders can't provide a useful file name for their downloads, and 80% could use some degree of improvement. Some even have the wrong name because they are a patch to make some other mod work with the mod you are currently browsing, and are named something like name_of_other_mod + "patch" + modID of this mod. If the downloads did not have the mod ID at the end of the filename so I can look them up on the website, some of them would get binned simply because I have no idea WTF they are. I have to rename at least 80%, probably more, of the zip/rar/7z mod archives I have just to keep some semblance of order. Make no mistake, I have utmost admiration for the creativity of these folks. Geniuses at modding, but some turn their brains off when naming their uploads.

Not even 100 of y'all could be bothered to say no, and there's at least 5mil people on this website, vast majority seemingly not bothered enough by this website to even care to say anything. Most of the old website elements are in similar places in the new layout; if you can't find them get someone to help you.If I knew about this poll, I would have voted. They didn't exactly publicize it very well. The only thing they did that I saw was put up that banner that said "We've got a new look. Click here to try it out." And I ignored it because I didn't want a new look, and I was worried if I clicked on it I wouldn't be able to switch back. vtudor
The old layout was simple yet elegant, efficient yet comprehensive using a self-explanatory arrangement. Now this new layout does not have categories and where are all the games listed under the search engine? Jesus what a mess!
