Skyrim Nexus Slow Loading

Skyrim nexus is very very slow if it even loads at all, keep getting logged out to.

Each and every so often I am getting logged out of the nexus and I find that annoying along with the load times for this site

Wow. It's horrendously slow again today. I'm trying to download Requiem, but it's an effort in futility. 15 minutes and still not even close to downloading it. Loading the mod page itself took me about 5 minutes alone, and I'm still waiting for the Files tab to open, which at this point seems like it's not going to happen.

 

Skyrim Nexus has become completely unusable for me due to these issues lately. I would gladly get my Skyrim mods elsewhere, but it seems some mods are hosted exclusively on the Nexus. :(

The site is so slow that this thread was started last year.

Anyway, it's pretty cool how the website worked great for about a day. I guess everyone got tired of it not working, went outside to play football, heard it was working again, and swarmed it.

I have been having this problem too. I tried to see if it was my internet so i am using an Ethernet cable. It only slightly helps but its still slow. i have an intel core i7 an a 8 gb ram.

Same here, for some reason the last 4 days have been terrible with trying to connect to the Nexus, I'm used to having these issues during hours when everyone comes online, but now it gone bonkers.

 

edit: just took me 7 attempts to download a file, its going at 20kb/s.

Slow here also... Skyrim nexus has been giving lots of 504 errors last couple days. At peak times. Loading time for pages seems ok ... When it loads ... most often it times out.

Is this correct place to post this? Until today this thread is several months old.

You lads and ladies need to read this: Sites are mind numbingly slow.

 

The Nexus sites are on transition to the Cloud system for the past and next few days. Have patience.
