Lisnpuppy
I think they just let Massa run out his contract cause they feel sorry for him. He is gone after this season. Not that he was the most outstanding driver. Reminded me of Louis. If he had to really push it he would eventually put it into a wall...or the rear of another car. JimboUK
Agreed, I don't think he'll be sitting in a Ferrari come next season. It's a shame really, he was becoming a solid driver before the accident but he never got that back after the time he had to take out. Ferrari will find him something to do, they look after their own. Vindekarr
This begs the question, who shall fill the #2 spot at the Scuderia? The strongest pitlane rumor is Sergio Perez, not really surprising, after the level of talent he's displayed.
JimboUK
It'll have to be someone who doesn't mind playing second fiddle to Alonso, I don't know if Perez would be happy to do that, if he did then it would be good experience for him. That said I think they really should find someone sooner rather than later, with Massa going around backwards they're missing out on a lot of constructor points, I'm not sure with who though, Barrichello would have been the obvious choice till the end of the season but he's off to IndyCar. Lisnpuppy
I don't think Barrichello would play second fiddle again, regardless of his current racing abilities. He got burned too bad with Schumy on that. I am glad he went to Indy Car.

Vindekarr
Ferrari will come good-there's been a few times like this, when they've gotten absolutely massacred but come good again-in the 1980s for example.
Dazaster
I just rang Bernie and he says Paul Di Resta will take the number 2 spot at Ferrari next year. Massa is being sent to Ferrari's new video game blunder, Massa Effect 4.
