1.19 Another pointless update

So update 1.19 is out and it dose almost nothing. It fixes a bug no one cared or knows about well ignoring over 1,000 known bugs. It added scripting for more CC items but no CC items and removed a report button. What's the point of this update? Sure x box one x of x with x support is added for x box and x but there was no point in updating PC aswell.

Looking back, all recent updates have been completely pointless for PC users unless you want to give Bethesda more money. I guess bug fixing post lunch is just not a thing anymore.

Bethesda stopped supporting this game with post-launch patches a long time ago. After Nuka World launched they released like one more patch and basically bailed. Everything from this point onward will be Creation Club related. I am shocked that they apparently have patched any bugs inside the game like you say. Just back up your .exe and don't worry about it. The only upsetting part is that F4SE will need to be updated, and when your favorite mods are updated to work with it you'll need to upgrade your game as well. It's a never ending cycle. I just wish that Bethesda would completely forget about these games and move on to new and interesting projects.

Its almost like they don't want us buying there games anymore. My old pc couldn't handle f04 so I played on ps4. I finally caved in and buy a rig to play it properly. Yesterday I decided to pick it up on Steam due to the sale and sat up late modding it up. I tested it and all was well. Went to work today came home excited and was greeted by the F4SE "I'm sorry dave I'm afraid I cant do that" message.

I'm debating returning it.

This is a simple fix, guys. You can download the rollback through steam directly, no shady upload site required.

start up the Run app in windows, and copy and paste this in the box: steam://nav/console

You should see the steam console appear. In the box type the following:

download_depot 377160 377162 9105915958081115649
It will download the old 1.10.40 runtime. You should see in the console where it downloaded it to (i.e. steamapps/content). Simply copy and paste into you Fallout 4 root folder( NOT DATA) and presto, like the update never happened.
Always keep a back copy of the exe. for Bethesda little tomfoolery like this.
