Why do people still mod Skyrim and not SkyrimSE?

The most glaring issue that's been omitted here is the utter lack of Parallax support for SSE. The "geniuses" over there at Bethesda decided not to include Parallax support for SSE for whatever reason. DonProtein released a YouTube video detailing the absence of Parallax support in Skyrim SE, which is a real bummer. Even Boris Vorontsov, creator of ENBSeries, has voiced his frustration towards making ENB work with Skyrim SE. I believe Fallout 4 has similar issues as well. As with many others, I'm waiting for a non-alpha SKSE64 & SKSE-dependent mods like HDT to be ported over to SSE. Until then, no SSE for me either.

2. it complicated, like to active the mod you must do lot things

3. performance(frame per second) is bad compare SkyrimLE

4. feature is 99% same compare both of game, no new quest, no bug fixes

5. it just remake game with additional graphic effect

6. brand new "same game" with no mod compatibility to old "same game"

Don't know if costs anything to upgrade( it probably does ) so it a ploy, for silly people.. And most of all "IF IT AIN'T BROKE..Don't fix IT".

Its dumb to continuously make big mods for oldrim and not also for sse it gets annoying when i go to look up a really cool mod like dragon transformation or super saiyan transformation its there but only for oldrim and i get mad when i see that

Actually man Skyrim SE has the 3 DLC's so yes new quests and no it does not contain ads plus when you install mods just use NMM its that simple i am an old player of this game and its still interesting.

For me, up till recently it was because of SKSE.. but even that is out the window now. I'm happy more SKSE enabled mods are making their way back on SE.. and am porting some mods myself for private use as well.

So I dabble in modding came here to find answer for skyrimx64 because I'm converting a skyrimx32 mod I made for the skyrimx64 gang.

3 things I can't stand before I even load up a save in skyrimx64

• ads: cooperate sales pitch about the junk I can go purchase on the creation crap scrolling in my face when I launch the game.
• I have to wait for a crack to come out for whatever version before I can prevent steam from running in the background of my computer logging when and what I'm playing utilizing my resources for their data collation.
• I have to wait for a crack to come out for whatever version before the game runs faster than w/ the steam DRM INFECTING my game.
• Mods don't start enabled automatically (that's why i'm here today searching for the answer) w/ out making a registry entry on my computer.
• the [M] utilizing precious real estate on my screen next to my saves and irritating the hell out of me when I normally make descriptive save names.
• That joke they call a built in mod manager
• the CREATION CRAP & MODS menu items

There are a few things after I load up a save I dislike but I'm getting distracted and daylight is burning.

owh my god,

are you serious?,

i quite tired playing quest in old skyrim(oldrim),and its old DLC (dawnguard, hearthfire, and dragonborn),

but you write "Skyrim SE has the 3 DLC's so yes new quest"

you all hear that, 3 brand new DLC!!!!!!,

what is that DLC(s) called?, where the link?, news?, rumor?, give it to me!!!

In my case is, that I can run Old Skyrim normally. But SE has to high system requirements for my laptop to run it. So I think a lot of people have the same problem. So why to buy new PC just to play Skyrim SE? For all other games that I play my laptop is strong enough. So I'm quite satisfied with Old Skyrim. Abd it plays good on my laptop even with around 250 mods installed. So Oldrim for me.
