Where did Nazir hide?

I've done the Dark Brotherhood questline more times than I can count. I just finished commenting in a thread about where Babette might have been after the Penitus Oculatus destroys the sanctuary but the answer to that one is simple: she's a kid, she doesn't have combat.

But Nazir... Nazir you save and he tells you to find a place to hide and apparently follows you. You hide with the Night Mother because her coffin is OP: Fireproof, Waterproof, Foolproof(get it? :^) )

As you're being pulled out, Babette says "He/She's in there, I'm telling you." So that implies Nazir did not know... but who pushed the coffin out of the window? Wasn't Nazir right behind you?

So my question... Where did Nazir hide to keep from dying to the fire?

The pool of water would have done nothing for the smoke and Babette's statement meant he didn't know you were in there. Is he just immune to fire or something? Dang essential NPCs.

Perhaps it's not canon, but I always liked to believe that he seduced the attackers with his devilish charm and big curved sword - the dog. Of course, after Nazir was finished extinguishing the fires, he fished you out with his big strong arms....and shared some of his sweet roll payment with you. That is, at least in my mind, what happened and why he did not burn.

Sounds like somebody is a little sweet for Nazir

Waterbreathing potion, you guys cling too much on real life and often forget Nirn is a world where people can craft potions that grant invisibility or waterbreathing, and that's leaving magic out of the subject.

I'm still bummed I can't levitate anymore...yeah, it's been years but still. They shouldn't have removed the spell.

Aaand this has to do with the main question because..uuhh, Nazir could have levitated...granted, he probably would have been cooked.
