llloyd
Hello! With tax time rolling up pretty soon here in the States I was poking at Premium and see two things, Premium and Supporter. What is the difference and does the more expensive Premium include Supporter? Two, as I stated above, I live in the United States. Yet the Premium price is showing up as British Pound Sterling with VATs. How do I show it in American dollars with out VATs? Since we Yanks don't have VATs. >.<
Thandal
1. The differences are as follows:SupporterOne-time payment of £1.29 ($2.00 USD)-- No advertising-- Private message 5x storage capacity, total archive size of 500-- Supporter-only Image Share section. The terms and conditions for this section are different and more open and liberal than the normal image share section.PremiumRecurring payment (unless "Lifetime")-- No advertising-- Private message 5x storage capacity, total archive size of 500-- Supporter-only Image Share section. The terms and conditions for this section are different and more open and liberal than the normal image share section.-- No 1Mbps download speed cap for Premium Members so you can download files faster if your connection can handle it.-- Premium only file servers. On top of uncapped download speeds we also have four Premium-only file servers. These are file servers that only Premium Members can download from and they're based in different geographic locations.-- Download multi-threading. Normal members are limited to 1 download thread per file, Premium Members are allowed up to 4 which can greatly improve your download speeds whether you're using NMM or downloading manually through your browser. 2. VAT is added (when appropriate) to the amount displayed. So unless it applies to you, you won't pay it.
llloyd
Ok, so, Premium includes Supporter as well, get Premium and that's all you need. Now, can I get the cost to display in USD or do I need to run the cost on screen through something like ConvertIt.com ?
Dark0ne
Thanks for your interest :) If you pay via Pay Pal, I believe it will tell you how much it will cost (and convert it to dollars) before you finally pay. However, there's no way of changing it to USD on our site.
JimmyRJump
Apologies for elbowing in, but what scenario are we looking at when a Premium member opts for a Lifetime membership after just having paid a yearly recurring Premium membership? I'm in this "situation" and having a small amount of cash falling into my lap would possibly make me go for a lifetime membership...
Dark0ne
Jimmy, go to your Purchases page, click your active purchase and then click "change package". It will should allow you to upgrade to Lifetime by offsetting what you've already paid for the 12 months, thus providing a hefty discount. If it doesn't, let me know using the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page.
