(Feedback) First problems

Hi there,

First of all, I love the UI!

But I ran into some trouble right away:

Trying to import mods from FO4s or SkyrimSEs NMM lists yields a blank list in the setup step.

Trying to manage Dragons Dogma just shows the "Starting Deployment" message indefinitely (closed Vortex.exe after 20min via Task Manager).

Have you reported this all via the built in feedback system in Vortex? If no, please do! It's a direct line to Tannin :)

Hello Dark0ne and the Vortex team.

I've read "Known Issues".

I have been experimenting with Vortex and Morrowind. My problem is I don't know how to enable .esp/.esm files. How do I enable them?

Forgive me if I'm posting this in the wrong forum.

Update: Vortex automatically enables them.

@Azrael_wtf:

Will it always hang when you try to switch to Dragons Dogma?

Managing Dragons Dogma requires an additional workstep anyway (this shouldn't be the cause of your problem though):

You need to get "Arctool.rar" from here: http://www.fluffyquack.com/tools/ and extract the exe (don't need the txt files) to C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar.unpacked\bundledPlugins\game-dragons-dogma

@MrSkyrimBro:

Plugin management for Morrowind isn't currently supported but should be in soon. For the time being you have to enable plugins the manual way.

@Tannin42:

It hangs whenever I try to switch to any non-gamebryo game. Tried with Dragons Dogma, Starbound and XCOM 2 now, all unmodded new installs (just trying stuff out for now), always with the same result.

Skyrim SE, FO4, FO:NV, Morrowind and Oblivion seem to work fine (when not using NMM import).

Thank you, Tannin. Does Vortex support plugin management for newer Elder Scolls/Fallout titles?

Yes, Fallout 3 to Fallout 4) is supported.

Theoretically, Vortex can be used for TTW also then?
