Who really reads all of the books?

I do read 'em all. Most of them are even great reads, well written with nicely concocted stories. I sometimes spend more time reading than going further in the game, especially now that I'm using a mod that adds all the books from Morrowind and some from Oblivion (I think).

I don't read all the books. I do open them all just to see if it might bump me up a skill level. Some I do read, depending on my playing mood that day, and I usually enjoy the ones I do read. Like the one about the young lockpicking student, who the Master thinks spends way too much time studying the locks. And the end has a delightful turn of events. :> Those are the kind i do enjoy reading. And I keep a few in my inventory that seem interesting to me, and plan on reading them.

 

Also, this play through at least, I have been collecting all books I come across even though it can be a bit of a pain. But the player house I'm using has alot of bookshelves, and I wanted to fill them up.

 

 

 

 

I've done it! And since I'm still in the habit, I got a cabinet full of books too! One of these days I'd like to try to sort some of these books to see how many of the full sets i've got. But I'm afraid that will be a major undertaking..

In my 1st play through I did. Now I set the options to open the book quickly and close it. Unless it is a book added by a mod I haven't read. I did read all the books added by Books of Skyrim too.

The Lusty Argonian Maid Volumes 1 & 2 are regarded as classics in various parts of Tamriel.

I read them all. I actually use the Audiobooks of Skyrim mod -- makes for nice reading in taverns or at home. Also use Living Takes Time so that time actually passes while reading. Great stuff. Some of the stories are pretty chilling.

Now you can get speech points for opening books there is even more incentive. Oddly, the new books are all open, so do not fit on the shelves with the others. (Narrative Loot).
